Answer: As the temperature increases, the speed of gas molecules increases.

Explanation:

Kinetic energy is the energy possessed by an object by virtue of its motion.

Average kinetic energy is defined as the average of the kinetic energies of all the particles present in a system. It is determined by the equation:

K=\frac{3RT}{2}

K= kinetic energy

R= gas constant

T= temperature

From above, it is visible that kinetic energy is directly related to the temperature of the system. So, if temperature is more, average kinetic energy of the system is more and thus speed of the molecules will be more.

Explain how the absorption of energy (heating) affects the speed of the particles in a substance
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

when a substance is cool the particles in the substance contracts, but when heated the particles expand and pressure becomes high that way the particles tend to move faster in the container, in other to escape.

Calculate the speed of a wave of frequency 50Hz and wavelength 1m?
frutty [35]

Answer:

50m/s

Explanation:

The formula for calculating speed of wave in relation to frequency and wavelength is

C=λf

Where c is the speed of the wag

λ is the wavelength which is 1m

f is the frequency which is 50Hz

From the formulas,

C= 50X1

C= 50m/s

If you push on a cart, the force of friction will slow it down. Friction is
meriva

Answer:

Heat

Explanation:

Friction can help convert heat into kinetic energy and kinetic energy into heat. Friction can be thought of as particles from different objects hitting each other. Collisions transfer energy converting large scale movement (kinetic energy) into small scale movement (heat).
