Anestetic [448]

<u>Answer:</u>

<em>To relate the type of box material to the warmth inside the box </em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

3 boxes are made with three different materials glass, plastic and Aluminium. Thermal conductivity is different for different materials. thermal conductors allow easy flow of heat through them and insulators allow minimal or no flow of heat through them.

Thus the amount by which an object gets heated up depends on the value of its conductivity. In this experiment, glass and plastic are insulators and aluminium is a conductor. Among glass and plastic, plastic is a better insulator.

<em>Thus the heat contained in the boxes will be of the order </em>Aluminium>glass>plastic.

A ball rolls from x=3.85m to x=22.1m in 5 seconds. What was its average velocity
Vadim26 [7]

Answer:

Average Velocity = 3.65 m/s

Explanation:

Average Velocity  =\frac{Total   Displacement}{Total     Time} =\frac{22.1-3.85}{5}=\frac{18.25}{5}=3.65

The error in the measurement of the radius of a sphere is 2%. What will be the error in the calculation of its volume?
BlackZzzverrR [31]

To solve this problem we will apply the geometric concepts of the Volume based on the consideration made of the radius measurement. The Volume must be written in differential terms of the radius and from the formula of the margin of error the respective response will be obtained.

The error in radius of sphere is not exceeding 2%

\frac{dr}{r} = \pm 0.02

The objective is to find the percentage error in the volume.

The volume can be defined as

V = \frac{4}{3} \pi r^3

Differentiate with respect the radius we have,

\frac{dV}{dr} = 4\pi r^2

dV = 4\pi r^2 \times dr

dV = 4\pi r^2 (\pm 0.02r)

dV = \pm 4\times 0.02 \times \pi r^3

The percentage change in the volume is as follows

\% change = \frac{dV}{V} \times 100

\% change = \frac{\pm 4 \times 0.02 \times \pi r^3 \times 3}{4\pi r^3}\times 100

\% change = \pm 6\%

Therefore the percentage change in volume is \pm 6\%

aniked [119]

Answer:

6.384 m/sec^{2}

Explanation:

The velocity is given by;

We know;

PE= mgh

KE= 1/2 mV^{2}

but KE=PE

==> 1/2 mV^{2} =mgh

==> 1/2 V^{2} =gh

==> v=\sqrt{2gh}

puting g=9.8 m/sec2

h=2.08 m

==> v= 6.384 m/sec^{2}=
