Ammonium chloride is salt, and when we add solid salt into water, it’s dissolved and nothing happens. The only thing happens when any salt dissolved in water, is becoming its ions and improve its conductivity.

NH4Cl(s) + H2O(l) → NH4+(aq) + Cl-(aq) + H2O(l)

Blue Mount Alkaline RO Water purifier is India’s first Alkaline RO water purifier with LED display and is a leading brand as it has a wide range of water purifiers that help you to drink healthy and safe water which can help you to boost your health and make you more healthy and fit. The water purifiers remove the acid components from the water and make the water more pure and safe to drink. So, switch your drinking habits to Alkaline Water.

38.0 mL of a 0.026 M solution of HCl is needed to react completely with a 0.032 M NaOH solution. Calculate the number of moles o
svet-max [94.6K]

<u>Answer:</u>

<em>The number of moles  of HCl actually present is 0.000988</em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

<em>The balanced chemical equation of the given reaction is </em>

HCl+NaOH \rightarrow NaCl+H_2 O

Here one mole of HCl reacts with one mole of NaOH to form one mole of NaCl and one mole of  water. Here the molarity of HCl is given as 0.026M.

<em>molarity of NaOH is 0.032M </em>

molarity is the number of moles per unit volume of solution.

we have to calculate the number of moles in 36 mL of HCl.

<em>38 mL=36/1000=0.038L </em>

<em>the number of moles in 38 mL of HCl is given by </em>

<em>no of moles =0.026 \times 0.038=0.000988</em>

a nuclide of 64/29 cu absorbs a positron. witch is the resulting atom? (A) 65/29Cu (B) 63/29 CU (C) 64/28Ni (D) 64/30 Zn
Nesterboy [21]

Answer : Option D) Zn^{64}_{30}

Explanation : When a positron is getting absorbed it means it will be e^{+1}_{0} so, the Cu^{64}_{29} will get converted;

So, the whole reaction will be;

Cu^{64}_{29} + e^{+1}_{0} ----> Zn^{64}_{30}.

This will convert the whole element of Cu will get changed into Zn. As, it absorbs by the positron, the atomic number gets increased from 29 to 30.

Which of these activities might involve a chemist?
goldfiish [28.3K]
B - A chemist might determine the fat content in a candy bar.

1) Fatty acids stored in candy bars are (in fact) composed of chemical substances.

2) Choice A makes no sense. This activity belongs in the Biology field. Or if you're an animal activist, you might be interested in undertaking this as a hobby.

 3) Choice C is absurd because either you're a Physicist who enjoys an occupation such as this, or you're just plain crazy.

4) Choice D is preposterous because either you're a Meteorologist, or a Geoscientist. Both of which have nothing to do with chemistry.
