Answer:

A radio telescope helped the astronomers discover the CMB.

Explanation:

  • Penzias and Wilson while experimenting with a radio telescope in 1964, accidentally discovered the radiation that exists universally also known as the CMB.
  • This was used to support the "Big Bang Theory" and not the "Steady State Theory"
  • CMB is the faint cosmic radiation that fills up the universe. It provides important data for understanding early universe.
  • This data tells us about the composition of the universe and its age which raises new questions about the universe.

makvit [3.9K]

A eclipse starts when one object in space is blocking an observer. Most commonly known as the moon blocking the sun. For us having a visual on eclipses we normally have two eclipses. We have the solar eclipse and the lunar eclipse. These are both very important on the timing and the cycles of the moon. A solar eclipse happens when the moon moves in front of the sun. This will cause a shadow to fall on only a few certain places on earth. Then a lunar eclipse is when the Sun, moon, and earth are perfectly aligned. With the earth being the middle the Sun casts its rays and causes a huge shadow on the moon.

Hope this helped!

An object has a mass of 12 kg. on planet a, the object weighs 69 n. the force of gravity on planet a is:_____.
balandron [24]

the force of gravity on planet a is g = 5.72 m/s2

There is an object that weighs 12 kg. The object's weight on Planet A is 69 N. The equation F=mg, where F is the weight, m is the mass, and g is the force of gravity, can be used to calculate the force of gravity on Planet A:

g = F/m

g = 69 N/ 12 kg

g = 5.72 m/s2

<h3>What is the gravity force?</h3>

The force of attraction between any two objects in the universe is known as gravity or gravitational force. The mass of the object and the square of the distance between them determine the force of attraction. The weakest known force in nature, it is by far.

  • Weight=585N

\\ \rm\hookrightarrow mg=585\implies m=585/10=58.5kg

Weight on moon is one sixth of earth

  • Weight on moon=58.5/6=9.75kg

\\ \rm\hookrightarrow F=ma

\\ \rm\hookrightarrow m=F/a

\\ \rm\hookrightarrow m=970/4.4

\\ \rm\hookrightarrow m=220.4kg

In Trial III, a different, looser, spring is used; its force constant is 23.1 N/m. The suspended mass is the same as the one in
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

T=0.827s

Explanation:

The period of a spring can be calculated with the equation

T=2\pi w

But we know as well that w is given by,

w=\sqrt{\frac{k}{m}}

Replacing,

w=\frac{2\pi}{T}= \sqrt{\frac{k}{m}}\\T=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{k}{m}}\\T=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{0.4}{23.1}}

So we have that

T=0.827s

bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

Nebula

Explanation:

 Given that in the constellation of Orion, you can see a group of stars and other objects that appear in the shape of a sword. Ln the middle of the sword, a bright "fuzzy star" appears. Astronomers looking at this object through telescopes refer to it as a "stellar nursery." Another name for this object is called NEBULA.

The space where new stars are forming anew is known as nebulae
