We can use the ideal gas equation which is expressed as PV = nRT. At a constant volume and number of moles of the gas the ratio of T and P is equal to some constant. At another set of condition, the constant is still the same. Calculations are as follows:

T1/P1 = T2/P2

T2 = P2 x T1 / P1

T2 = 225 x 300 / 198

<span>T2 = 340.91 K</span>

A. If a T-Rex runs 20 meters in 4 seconds, what is it’s average speed?
mariarad [96]

5m/s

100m

Explanation:

Average speed is sum of distance distance traveled in a given time by a body.

 Average speed= \frac{total distance covered}{time taken}

Distance = 20m

time = 4s

  Average speed = \frac{20}{4} = 5m/s

For the spaceship;

   Distance covered = speed x time

Speed = 50m/s

time = 2s

 Distance covered = 50 x 2 = 100m

The two blocks in oscillate on a frictionless surface with a period of 1.5 s. The upper block just begins to slip when the ampli
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

0.72

Explanation:

T = Time period of oscillation = 1.5 s

Angular frequency is given as

w = \frac{2\pi }{T}\\w = \frac{2(3.14) }{1.5}\\w = 4.2 rad/s

A = Amplitude of oscillation = 40 cm = 0.40 m

\mu = Coefficient of static friction = ?

a = acceleration of the block

m = mass of the block

Maximum acceleration of the block is given as

a = Aw^{2}

frictional force is given as

f = \mu mg

As per newton's second law

f = ma \\\\\mu mg = ma \\\mu g = a\\\mu g = Aw^{2}\\\mu (9.8) = (0.40)(4.2)^{2}\\\mu = 0.72

A coil of 150 turns of wire is in the form of a circle of radius 7.5 cm, and sits in the center of a dipole magnet that produces
irga5000 [103]

Answer:

Current in the loop is 0.063 A

Explanation:

Number of turns in the coil N = 150

Radius of the circular loop r = 7.5 cm = 0.075 m

So area A=\pi r^2=3.14\times 0.075^2=0.0176m^2

Magnetic field B = 1.5 T

Maximum torque is given \tau =0.25Nm

We have to find current in the coil

Torque on circular coil in magnetic field is equal to

\tau =BINA

0.25=1.5\times I\times 150\times 0.0176

I = 0.063 A
