Let me start with the second screenshot :-
To find the scale factor you have to enlarge/ dilate A to get B you have a given side so assume that all sides are dilated to the same extent
 : .   1 \frac{1}{2}  /  \frac{3}{4} = 2

Thus one can say m would be
      \frac{1}{2} * 2 = 1

And N would be
      \frac{5}{6}  * 2 =  \frac{10}{6}

Suppose that y varies inversely with x and y = 3 when x=10 find y when x=5
zysi [14]

Answer:

y=1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

if (y = 3) is  (x = 10) and (y = ?) is (x = 5) we see that x is half of the first equation in the second. This means we divide both variables in the first equation by half to get the second. [(x = 10) / 2 = (x = 5)] therefor, [(y = 3) / 2 = (y = 1.5)]. Making your answer 1.5.

Hope this helps :)

A high-performance composite flywheel rotor can spin anywhere between 30,000 and 100,000 revolutions per minute. What
Kobotan [32]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

1 revolution will equal 360 degrees

Because of that 30,000 revolution would be 10,800,000 degrees

100,000 rev would equal 36,000,000 degrees

The range through which the composite flywheel rotates in one minute be denoted by ' F ' . (1.08 x 107)° F (3.6 x 107)°

A student pushes a 51.5 kilogram bookshelf across a smooth floor with a net force of 67 N.
iren [92.7K]

The acceleration of the bookshelf is equal to 1.30 m/s^2

<u>Given the following data:</u>

  • Mass of bookshelf = 51.5 kilogram
  • Net force = 67 Newton

To determine the acceleration of the bookshelf, we would apply Newton's Second Law of Motion:

Newton's Second Law of Motion states that the acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on the object while being inversely proportional to its mass.

Mathematically, Newton's Second Law of Motion is given by this formula;

Acceleration = \frac{Net\;force}{Mass}

Substituting the given parameters into the formula, we have;

Acceleration = \frac{67}{51.5}

Acceleration = 1.30 m/s^2
