Unless the ring by design will have restriction for any outward expansion. The hole will get larger / bigger as you heat this up. The more you heat an object the more it expands, thus the larger the hole gets. The only case is when outward expansion is restricted, the expansion will be inward as it is the only direction the ring can expand to.

URGENT!!!
madreJ [45]

Answer:

f=6.97\times 10^{14}\ Hz

Explanation:

Given that,

Wavelength, \lambda=430\ nm=430\times 10^{-9}\ m

We need to find the frequency of the violet light.

We know that the relation between frequency and wavelength is given by :

f=\dfrac{c}{\lambda}\\\\f=\dfrac{3\times 10^8}{430\times 10^{-9}}\\\\f=6.97\times 10^{14}\ Hz

So, the frequency of violet light is 6.97\times 10^{14}\ Hz.

How does the magnitude of the electrical force between a pair of charged particles change when they are brought to half their or
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

5. Quadruple

Explanation:

The electrostatic force between two charged particles is given by:

F=k\frac{q_1 q_2}{r^2}

where

k is the Coulomb's constant

q1, q2 are the two charges

r is the separation between the charges

If the distance between the charges is reduced to half,

r' = \frac{r}{2}

So the new force will be

F'=k\frac{q_1 q_2}{(r/2)^2}=4(k\frac{q_1 q_2}{r^2})=4F

So, the force will quadruple.
