We know:

Force =Mass×Accerlation

∴Accerlation =  \dfrac{force}{mass}

So by seeing this formula we came to know that accerlation is directly proportional to force and inversely proportional to mass.

So by increase of force acceleration also increases.

How does the water cycle transport energy and matter
natali 33 [55]

Explanation:

Water evaporates from the surface of the earth and through the leaves of the plants and trees by absorbing the heat energy from the surrounding.

This water then converts into vapour and goes up into the atmosphere where the temperature is low in the troposphere and condenses to form the clouds. During the cloud formation the heat form the vapour is absorbed in the troposphere.

These clouds when get saturated then fall in the form of precipitation of water, snow etc. Replenishing back the water of the earth.

a book is sitting still on your desk. are the forces acting on the book balanced or unbalanced? explain.
GrogVix [38]
They are balanced. If the forces were not balanced the book would move*. In this example, the downward force of gravity on the book is counterbalanced by the upthrust of the desk.

Zielflug [23.3K]
Using the Equation:
                                 v² = vi² + 2 · a · s    → Eq.1
where,
v = final velocity
vi = initial velocity
a = acceleration
s = distance

We know that vi = 0 because the ball was at rest initially.

Therefore,

Solving Eq.1 for acceleration,

v² = vi² + 2 · a · s
v² = 0 + 2 · a · s
v² = 2 · a · s
Rearranging for a,
a = v ²/2·s
Substituting the values,
a = 46²/2×1
a = 1058 m/s²

Now applying Newton's 2nd law of motion,

F = ma
   = 0.145×1058

F = 153.4 N
