A cart is pulled by horizontal force such that it moves with constant velocity

So here since velocity is constant we can say that its acceleration will be ZERO

now here for zero acceleration we can say

F_{net} = 0

So here we will have

F_{net} = F_{ap} - F_f = 0

here we know that

F_f = 10 N

so we will have

F_{ap} - 10 = 0

F_{ap} = 10 N

so here applied force on handle will be

<em>b. 10 N</em>

If an element's atomic mass and atomic number are known, what else can be determined? Give an example to demonstrate your unders
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

Explanation:

If an elements atomic mass and number are known you can also determine the number of protons and neutrons it has. You can also determine where it is on the periodic table. For example, if a element had a atomic mass of 10 then it would be higher up on the table then one with a mass of 20. Btw I do apex too.

What is the volume of an irregularly shaped object that has a mass 3.0 grams and a density of 6.0 g/mL
pogonyaev

Answer: The volume of an irregularly shaped object is 0.50 ml

Explanation:

To calculate the volume, we use the equation:

\text{Density of substance}=\frac{\text{Mass of substance}}{\text{Volume of substance}}

Density of object = 6.0g/ml

mass of object = 3.0 g

Volume of object = ?

Putting in the values we get:

6.0g/ml=\frac{3.0g}{\text{Volume of substance}}

{\text{Volume of substance}}=0.50ml

Thus the volume of an irregularly shaped object is 0.50 ml

The bohr shift on the oxygen-hemoglobin dissociation curve is produced by changes in
Alisiya [41]

Answer:

THE BOHR SHIFT ON THE OXYGEN-HEMOGLOBIN DISSOCIATION CURVE IS PRODUCED BY CHANGES IN THE CONCENTRATION OF CARBON IV OXIDE.

Explanation:

The oxygen-hemoglobin dissociation curve shows the relationship between the saturated hemoglobin concentration and oxygen. It shows how the blood hold on to and releases oxygen. The Bohr shift can occur as a result of changes in concentration of carbon iv oxide and other factors such as acidity or pH, 2,3-bisphosphoglycerate, exercise, also temperature of the body. These factors contributes to the right or left shift on the curve. Carbon iv oxide prevents the binding of oxygen to the hemoglobin. The is because hemoglobin has the same binding site for both oxygen and carbon iv oxide. Carbon iv oxide increase also leads to a change in the pH of the blood through the formation of bicarbonate ion. Bicarbonate ion formation causes reduced acidity and therefore lead a shift in the dissociation curve for more of the carbon iv oxide to be excreted as hemoglobin's affinity for oxygen reduces. And when the concentration of carbon iv oxide is low in the plasma, acidity increases and this provides more affinity for oxygen by the hemoglobin.
