First M stands for Molarity which is (moles of solute) / (Liters of solution). we also know that moles = (mass) / (molar mass). so we can form some equations here. We know:
Molarity (M) = moles (mol) / Liters (L)
moles (mol) = (mass) / (molar mass)

we can substitute the (mass) / (molar mass) for (moles) and get:
M = [(mass) / (molar mass)] / Liters

we can now isolate mass and get
M * Liters * molar mass = mass

now we need to find the molar mass of CaCl2 which is 110.98 g/mol

plug the values in and get
.350M * 6.5L * 110.98 g/mol = mass

mass = 252.4795g however the 6.5L has only 2 sig figs so i would say

mass CaCl2 = 2.5 * 10 ^2 g

Known: M = 350 M

             Mol = 6.6 L

             Molar mass of CaCl2 = 110.98 g / ml

Asked: Mass of CaCl2?

Answer: First, we will use the formula:

               M = {(mass) / (molar mass)} / mol

               => mass = M x mol x molar mass

               Second, enter a known value

               mass = 350 M x 6.5 L x 110.98 g / mol

               CaCl2 mass = 2.5 x 10 ^ 2 g

               So, the mass of CaCl2 is 2.5 x 10 ^ 2 g.

Further Explanation

Molarity is a quantity that can express the number of moles of solute in each unit volume of solution. The unit of molarity is the molar (M) which is equal to mol/liter. If there are (n) moles of compounds dissolved in (V) liters of a solution.

A mole is a mathematically obtained unit, involving several other units such as the relative molecular mass, and the average atomic mass. A mole is defined as the number of particles contained in a particular substance where the number is equal to the number of atoms contained in 12.00 grams of C-12 atoms. C-12 is a carbon isotope that has a definitive standard atomic weight of 12. Therefore, the mass of this carbon isotope has an exact weight of 12 grams. The use of carbon as a basis for determination because carbon is the element most often and easily found in nature.

The chemical reaction is the event of chemical change from substances that react (reactants) into substances that result from reactions (products). In chemical reactions, new substances are always produced with new properties. Chemical reactions are written using the element symbol. Let's look at how to express a reaction using symbols.

After undergoing alpha decay, an atom of radium-226 becomes
Zanzabum
The answer is b. radon-222. The alpha decay means that it will emit an alpha particle when decays. The alpha particle has two protons and two neutrons. So Radium(88) minus two protons will become Radon(86). And the atomic mass will become 226-4=222.

What are the observable indicators that can be evidence a chemical change might have occurred?
kozerog [31]

solution:

The four observations that indicate a chemical change are:

1) Precipitate is formed

2) Odour

3) Heat is emitted ( change in temperature)

4)Formation of a Gas

Changes of state may of course be merely physical—as for example when liquid water is boiled to form a vapor. (These and other examples of physical changes resulting from temperature changes are discussed in the essays on Properties of Matter; Temperature and Heat.) The vapor produced by boiling water, as noted above, is still water; on the other hand, when liquid water is turned into the elemental gases hydrogen and oxygen, a more profound change has occurred.

Likewise the addition of liquid potassium chromate (K2CrO4) to a solution of barium nitrate (Ba[NO3]2 forms solid barium chromate (BaCrO4). In the reaction described, a solution is also formed, but the fact remains that the mixture of two solids has resulted in the formation of a solid in a different solution. Again, this is a far more complex phenomenon than the mere freezing of water to form ice: here the fundamental properties of the materials involved have changed.

The physical change of water to ice or steam, of course, involves changes in temperature; likewise, chemical changes are often accompanied by changes in temperature, the crucial difference being that these changes are the result of alterations in the chemical properties of the substances involved. Such is the case, for instance, when wood burns in the presence of oxygen: once wood is turned to ash, it has become an entirely different mixture than it was before. Obviously, the ashes cannot be simply frozen to turn them back into wood again. This is an example of an irreversible chemical reaction.

Chemical reactions may also involve changes in color. In specific proportions and under the right conditions, carbon—which is black—can be combined with colorless hydrogen and oxygen to produce white sugar. This suggests another kind of change: a change in taste. (Of course, not every product of a chemical reaction should be tasted—some of the compounds produced may be toxic, or at the very least, extremely unpleasant to the taste buds.) Smell, too, can change. Sulfur is odorless in its elemental form, but when combined with hydrogen to form hydrogen sulfide (H2S), it becomes an evil-smelling, highly toxic gas.
