CO₂  +  H₂O  ------->  H₂CO₃

moles of CO₂ = \frac{MASS  of  Carbon}{ MOLAR  MASS}

                       = \frac{528  g}{44.01  g / mol}

                       =  11.997 mol

mole ratio of  CO₂  :  H₂O  =   1  :  1

            ∴ moles of H₂O  =  (`11.997 mol )  *  1
                                       =  11.997 mol
                                       ≈  12  mol

Four different objects are placed on a number line at 0. The chart describes the motion of each object. Using the information in
mote1985 [20]

The chart with the information to answer this question may be found in other Brainly's link, so I attach it now.

Answer:

  • Z

Explanation:

To facilitate the accompaniment of the reasoning, I copy the data here:

Object     Motion

  X           3 units left, 3 units right

  Y           6 units right, 18 units right

  W          8 units left, 24 units right

  Z          16 units right, 8 units left

The distance is the scalar magnitude that indicates the total length of the path traveled.

The displacement is the vector that indicates how far the end point and the initial point are.

In order to calculate the distance, the displacement and the ratio r = distance/displacement, to check which object has a distance that is three times as great as its displacement, i.e. r = 3, we use this new chart:

Object    Motion                                    Distance     Displacement  ratio

  X          3 units left, 3 units right        3 + 3 = 6       3 - 3 = 0            ∞

  Y          6 units right, 18 units right    6 + 18 = 24    6 + 18 = 24       1

  W         8 units left, 24 units right      8 + 24 = 32   -8 + 24 = 16     2

  Z          16 units right, 8 units left       16 + 8 = 24    16 - 8 = 8         3

The ratios were calculated dividing the distance by the displacement: distance / displacement.

For the object Z, that was 24 / 8 = 3. Thus, the object that has a distance that is three times as great as its displacement is the object Z.

In models of molecules, spheres of different colors and
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

According to this question, each model of molecules in the options contains spheres of different colors and sizes representing different types of atoms. The atoms of the same element are the spheres of same color and size while atoms of different element are of different color or size.

Therefore, the model showing a molecule of a substance that is made up of three elements is model D because it is made up of three distinct spheres representing atoms of each element.

- The red sphere is the atom of the first element

- The big dark sphere is the atom of the second element

- The small white sphere is the atom of the third element

You have a 15.0 gram sample of gold at 20.0°C. How much heat does it take to raise the temperature to 100.0°C?
Nadusha1986 [10]

Answer:

=154.8 J

Explanation:

The rise in temperature is contributed by the change in temperature.

Change in enthalpy = MC∅, where M is the mass of the substance, C is the specific heat capacity and ∅ is the change in temperature.

Change in temperature = 100.0°C-20.0°C=80°C

ΔH=MC∅

The specific heat capacity of gold= 0.129 J/g°C

ΔH= 15.0g×0.129J/g°C×80°C

=154.8 J

Answer:

b. transfer of electron(s).

Explanation:

An oxidation-reduction also called a redox reaction is a

chemical reaction in which electrons are transferred of between two species of reactants. It is a chemical reaction where the oxidation number of an atom, ion, or molecule, increases or decreases by losing or gaining electrons
