Answer:

t = 20.96 seconds

Explanation:

given,

lightning strikes at = 4.5 mi( 23,760 ft)

air temperature =74.0°F

74.0°F = 23.3 °C

speed of the sound at 23.3 °C

V = 331.5 + 0.6 × T

V = 331.5 + 0.6 × 23.3

   = 345.48 m/s

distance given = 4.5 mile

1 mile = 1609.4

4.5 mile = 4.5 × 1609.4 = 7242.3 m

time taken =

t =\dfrac{d}{v}

t =\dfrac{7242.3}{345.48}

t = 20.96 seconds

hence, time taken by the sound to reach by the observer is 20.96 sec.

Luden [163]

Answer:

This reaction is of the spontaneous decomposition of hydrogen peroxide down into water and oxygen. Add 2 molecules of hydrogen peroxide and 2 molecules of water. Since oxygen is naturally diatomic, the total number of atoms of each element is now the same on both sides of the equation so it is balanced.

A centrifuge in a forensics laboratory rotates at an angular speed of 3,700 rev/min. When switched off, it rotates 46.0 times be
ra1l [238]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given,

initial angular speed, ω = 3,700 rev/min

                                      = 3700\times \dfrac{2\pi}{60}=387.27\ rad/s

final angular speed = 0 rad/s

Number of time it rotates= 46 times

angular displacement, θ = 2π x 46 = 92 π

Angular acceleration

\alpha = \dfrac{\omega_f^2 - \omega^2}{2\theta}

\alpha = \dfrac{0 - 387.27^2}{2\times 92\ pi}

\alpha = -259.28 rad/s^2

Using the graph, describe what is happening between 4 and 6 seconds. The object is moving away from the origin at a constant vel
Hunter-Best [27]

The position in the graph between 4 - 6 seconds is the region of constant velocity.

<h3>What is constant velocity?</h3>

The term constant velocity refers to the period in the graph when the velocity is not changing with time. As such, the graph is shown to be a flat portion at such a point.

Hence, it follows that the position in the graph between 4 - 6 seconds is the region of constant velocity.
