Well, if the skydiver is at constant velocity, than there’s no acceleration, as stated by Newton’s first law. Thus the total net force would equate to 0. In order to make this statement true, the answer would have to be exactly 600 N.

How do terrestrial and giant planets differ? List as many ways as you can think of.
Leni [432]

Answer: The differences between terrestrial planets and the giant planets are s follows-

  1. The inner planets namely Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars are the terrestrial planets, whereas the outer planets namely Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune are known as the outer planets.
  2. Inner planets are composed mainly of silicate materials as well as some metals, whereas the giant planets are comprised of water (in different states) and gases such as Hydrogen and Helium.
  3. The density of the inner planets are more in comparison to the outer planets, where earth has the highest of about 5.5 gm/cm³ and Saturn has the lowest of about 0.7 gm/cm³.
  4. Due to the location of the inner planets near to the sun, they have high boiling point, whereas outer planets are much far from the sun so they have a low boiling point.

Margaret [11]

Answer: 1.176×10^-3 s

Explanation: The time constant formulae for an RC circuit is given below as

t =RC

Where t = time constant , R = magnitude of resistance = 21 ohms , C = capacitance of capacitor = 56 uf = 56×10^-6 F

t = 56×10^-6 × 21

t = 1176×10^-6

t = 1.176×10^-3 s

stephen buys a new moped . he travels 4km south and then 6km east. how far does he need to go to get back where he started??
stiks02 [169]

Answer:

My answer is 7.2 km

Explanation:

When Stephen goes to the south and then to the east, he is drawing a right triangle, where the 4 km and 6 km sides are the cathetus of a right triangle.

Then we use the Pithagorean theorem to solve this problem. We need to find the hypotenuse.

c² = a² + b²

c² = 4² + 6²

c² = 16 + 36

c² = 52

c = 7.2 km
