3.7.6. A satellite is in a circular orbit around the Earth. If it is at an altitude equal to twice the radius of the Earth, 2RE,

Answer:

Explanation:

For acceleration due to gravity

g = GM / R²  ---------------------------- ( 1 )

At height 2R , radius of orbit is 3R .

If speed of satellite be v

m v² / 3R = GMm / (3R)² ( centripetal force = gravitational force )

v² = GM / 3R -------------------------------------- ( 2 )

Dividing (1) and (2)

v² / g = R / 3

v² = gR / 3

v = √( gR / 3 )

How long does water evaporation take? What factors influence it?
svetoff [14.1K]
There is no certain time on how long it takes. Because the factors will always be different and the factors heavily affect the evaporation time. Some factors include: humidity, heat, how the sun is visible (whether clouds are covering it or not)

How do human population growth trends differ between developed nations and developing nations?
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

Replacement-Level Fertility

Another important population characteristic that differ btw develop nation and developing nations is relates to births is replacement-level fertility. Replacement-level fertility is the fertility rate that will result in the replacement of the parents in the population. Again, in an ideal world, the human replacement-level fertility rate would be exactly two. This would mean that each couple would produce two offspring that would replace them in the population. If this occurred, then the human population would stay at a stable rate

What is the series equivalent of two 1000 W resistors in series?
aleksandrvk [35]
The equivalent resistance when two resistors are connected in series is
the sum of their individual resistances.

The marking on the resistor that says "1000 W" is the rating that tells
how much power the resistor can safely dissipate, without overheating
or exploding. (The 'W' stands for 'Watts'.)  It doesn't tell us anything about
their individual resistances. So we don't have enough information to calculate
their series equivalent.
