What happens if we increase the value of the resistor in forward bias connection?

A series resistor is necessary in forward biasing because it cannot overflow the current. If we give the maximum amount of current, then diode will be burnt. ... then if we increase the voltage against the current we will get the curve.

Which two facts about plastic affect the environment in a negative way? There are many kinds of plastics to choose from. Some pl
allsm [11]

Some plastics release toxic

They don’t break down over time

Explanation:

The two main facts that shows plastic affects the environment in a negative way is that some of them are toxic and they take a long time to completely break down.

  • Plastics are petrochemical products made up of high molecular mass organic compounds
  • These compounds in plastic polymers takes a very long time to break down
  • They also contain some toxins that are carcinogenic.
  • Foods packed in them can be exposed to these hazardous substances.
  • Most plastics leach chemicals that are very harmful.

Which of the following is a characteristic of the cosmic microwave background radiation
Akimi4 [234]

Answer:

The Cosmic Microwave Background radiation, or CMB for short, is a faint glow of light that fills the universe, falling on Earth from every direction with nearly uniform intensity. It is the residual heat of creation--the afterglow of the big bang--streaming through space these last 14 billion years like the heat from a sun-warmed rock, reradiated at night.

Since the early twentieth century, two concepts have transformed the way astronomers think about observing the universe. The first is that it is fantastically large; the portion of the universe visible today is a sphere nearly 15 billion light-years in radius, and that, we believe, is just the tip of the iceberg. The second is that light travels at a fixed speed. A simple consequence of these ideas is that as you look at more and more distant objects, you're seeing farther and farther back in time--sometimes very far back indeed. When you see Jupiter shining in the night sky, for example, you're looking about an hour back in time, whereas the light from distant galaxies captured by telescopes today was emitted millions of years ag0.

when a car is heated , say by taking it to a desert, it expands. Is the increase in length of the car greater than, less than, o
Wittaler [7]

Answer:

  ΔL = \frac{L_{o} }{h_{o} } Δh

since the length of the carriages is greater than their height, the length expansion is greater than the height expansion

Explanation:

This is an exercise in thermal expansion, which is described by the expression for one dimension

          ΔL = α L₀ ΔT

For the analysis of this exercise we will assume that the sides are independent

Let's look for the condition of the length of the car

         ΔL / L₀ = α ΔT

The height delay (h) is

         Δh / h₀ = α  ΔT

we can match the two expressions

       ΔL / L₀ = Δh / h₀

        ΔL = \frac{L_{o} }{h_{o} } Δh

since the length of the carriages is greater than their height, the length expansion is greater than the height expansion
