Explanation:

A battery sits in an iPod before the iPod is turned on Chemical

A man at a carnival lifts a hammer high over his head

before swinging it down onto a pad. Gravitational

A positively charged particle is slowly moved away

from a strong, negatively charged plate Electric

The string of a bow and arrow is pulled tight. Elastic

Energy is defined as the ability to do work. There are two main forms of energy which are:

  • Potential energy
  • Kinetic energy

Chemical energy energy is a form of potential energy produced through chemical reactions. A car battery is an electrochemical that converts chemical energy into electrical energy for use in the iPod. The battery is made up of electrodes through which electron flows in one direction and current is generated by the potential difference set up

Gravitational energy is a form of potential energy that tends to pull all bodies to the center of the earth. It is an attractive force.

Electrical energy is a form of energy produced through the flow of electric current in a body. As the positive charge moves away from the strong negative plate, an electric current is produced.

Elastic energy is a potential energy stored in elastic bodies that can be stretched and are not plastic.

Which statement correctly differentiates between transmitters and receivers?
jeka94

Answer:

Transmitters send radio waves, and receivers capture radio waves.

Explanation:

Let us look at each of the choices one by one:

(1).Transmitters have antennas, and receivers do not have antennas.

Nope. To send signals transmitters need antennas, and to receive signals the receivers need antennas as well.

(2). Transmitters send radio waves, and receivers capture radio waves.

This is true. Transmitters are for transmitting and receivers are for receiving EM signals.

(3). Transmitters have demodulators, and receivers have modulators.

No, it is the other way around. Transmitters have modulators, and receivers have demodulators.

(4). Transmitters do not have amplifiers, and receivers have amplifiers.

Nope. Both the transmitters and the receivers need amplifiers. Transmitters need them to increase the power of the broadcast, and receivers need them to amplify the signal for processing.

Therefore, only the 2nd statement "Transmitters send radio waves, and receivers capture radio waves." is correct.

Some neodymium glass lasers can provide 100TW of power in 1.0 ns pulses at a wavelength of 0.26 micrometers. how much energy is
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer:

E = 10⁵ J

Explanation:

given,

Power, P = 100 TW

           = 100 x 10¹² W

time, t = 1 ns

           = 1 x 10⁻⁹ s

The energy of a single pulse is:-

Energy = Power x time

E = P t

E = 100 x 10¹² x 1 x 10⁻⁹

E = 10⁵ J

The energy contained in a single pulse is equal to 10⁵ J

What is the correct classification of a mixture in which both a solid and a liquid are visible?
stepan [7]
The answer is a heterogeneous mixture. Mixtures can be homogeneous and heterogeneous. If a solid and a liquid of a mixture cannot be separated and the difference between them is not visible, it is called homogeneous mixture (or solution). If a solid and a liquid of a mixture are visible and can be separated easily, the mixture is called heterogeneous.
