<em><u>The nuclear energy is the source of energy production on the sun, then this travels to the Earth in the form of Electromagnetic radiation and as it heats up the other bodies in solar system, it gets converted into the heat energy.</u></em>

Explanation:

The sun is considered to be the ultimate source of energy for the whole solar system. The energy produced in the sun reaches all the other planets in the solar system. The sunlight is a very big source of energy for the Earth also.

The energy produced on the sun is due to the nuclear reaction due to the immense pressure and temperature. This nuclear energy from the sun travels to the other bodies in the solar system by means of the electromagnetic radiations.

The electromagnetic radiations from the sun carry the heat energy to the bodies and as they reach the target, the target is heated up due to the conversion of the energy from the sun into the heat energy.

Thus, <em><u>The nuclear energy is the source of energy production on the sun, then this travels to the Earth in the form of Electromagnetic radiation and as it heats up the other bodies in solar system, it gets converted into the heat energy.</u></em>

<h3><u>Answer</u>;</h3>

The sun creates energy through nuclear fusion. Kinetic energy creates heat and light.

<h3><u>Explanation</u>;</h3>
  • <em><u>Solar energy from the sun is the primary source of energy on the surface of life that is important for sustaining life on earth.</u></em>
  • <em><u>Nuclear fusion occurring in the sun involves a nuclear reaction in which hydrogen nuclei fuse together to form helium nuclei and release energy.</u></em>
  • <em><u>Electromagnetic energy from the sun comes to Earth in the form of radiation.  This energy travels through space at a speed equivalent to that of other electromagnetic radiations that is the speed of light.</u></em>
  • <em><u>The electromagnetic energy from nuclear fusion in the sun generates kinetic energy that in turn creates light and heat.</u></em>

Astronomers observe two separate solar systems each consisting of a planet orbiting a sun. The two orbits are circular and have
Oxana [17]

Answer:

(D) 3

Explanation:

The angular momentum is given by:

\vec{L}=\vec{r}\ X \ \vec{p}

Thus, the magnitude of the angular momenta of both solar systems are given by:

L_1=Rm_1v_1=Rm_1(\omega R)=R^2m_1(\frac{2\pi}{T_1})=2\pi R^2\frac{m_1}{T_1}\\\\L_2=Rm_2v_2=2\pi R^2\frac{m_2}{T_2}

where we have taken that both systems has the same radius.

By taking into account that T1=3T2, we have

L_1=2\pi R^2\frac{m_1}{3T_2}=\frac{1}{3}2\pi R^2\frac{1}{T_2}m_1=\frac{1}{3}\frac{L_2}{m_2}m_1

but L1=L2=L:

L=\frac{1}{3}L\frac{m_1}{m_2}\\\\\frac{m_1}{m_2}=3

Hence, the answer is (D) 3

What is the frequency of light with a wavelength of 7.9 x 10^-9 m? ( the speed of light is 3.00 x 10^8)
nlexa [21]
Using the formula v=f times lambada
then v=the speed of light.
and f=what’s we’re looking for
and lambada=the wavelength.

so then you sub what you have (v and lambada) in the formula.
then multiply the frequency(f) by the given wavelength and then solve for f

Is the acceleration due to gravity in projectile motion always negative? please explain
umka21 [38]
Before you start working on any motion problem, YOU decide which direction you're going to call 'positive'. Everybody almost always calls UP positive, and the acceleration of gravity points down, so it winds up negative. But you could just as well call DOWN the positive direction. Then, the cannonball is fired with a negative vertical speed, and the acceleration of gravity eventually robs all of its negative speed, and makes it start falling in the positive direction. The whole thing is your choice.
