HCl:

m=48,2g
M=36,5g/mol

n = m/M = 48,2g / 36,5g/mol = 1,32mol

1mol          : 4mol
MnO₂        + 4HCl ⇒ MnCl₂ + Cl₂ + 2H₂O
0,86mol     :  1,32mol
                     limiting reagent
0,33 will react

HCl is limiting reagent.

To dissolve one substance in another, thus forming a solution, three things must occur: The forces holding solute particles toge
aniked [119]

To dissolve one substance, attractions between solute and solvent particles must be formed, steps involved are:

Formation of a solution:

  • A physical process, not a chemical one, takes place when a solute and a solvent combine to produce a solution.
  • In other words, by applying the right separation techniques, both the solute and the solvent may be recovered in chemically unaltered forms.
  • It is claimed that two substances are entirely miscible when they combine to create a single homogenous phase in all ratios. Water and ethanol mix well, much like different gas combinations do.
  • When two substances, like oil and water, are fundamentally insoluble in one another, they are said to be immiscible.
  • We have already talked about several examples of gaseous solutions, such as the atmosphere of Earth.
  • Thus, a system that has two or more compounds homogeneously (in a single phase) dissolved in it is called a solution. It is the homogenous mixture formed when a solute dissolves in a solvent.

What is the mass of 3.25 mol of h2so4
Setler [38]

Answer/ explanation :

The find the mass,

We use this formula

Number of mole = mass/ molar mass

Since number of mole = 3.25mol

Number of mass be x

Molar mass of H2SO4

H - 1.00784 * 2= 2.01568

S - 32.065

O - 15.999 * 4 = 63.996

Note there are 2 moles of H and 4 moles of O and 1 mole of S

Molar mass of H2SO4 = 2.01568 + 32.065 + 63.996

= 98.07668g/mol

Number of mole= 3.25mol

3.25 = x / 98.07668

x = 3.25 * 98.07668

= 318.749g

Therefore, the number of mass is 318.749g

Which of the following statements best describes the similarities between beryllium, magnesium,calcium, and strontium?
Schach [20]
I didn't see any statements, but here are some similarities of those elements:

They all have the same number of valence electrons, they will become cations, they all will lose 2 electrons, they will behave similarly in chemical reactions, they have similar chemical properties, they all are in the alkaline earth metal family. Hope this helps! :)

Calculate the density of the cube:

mass = 150.0 g

volume = 16.7 cm3
Lera25 [3.4K]

Answer:

The answer is 8.98 g/cm³

Explanation:

The density of a substance can be found by using the formula

density =  \frac{mass}{volume} \\

From the question

mass of cube = 150 g

volume = 16.7 cm³

We have

density =  \frac{150}{16.7}  \\  = 8.98203592...

We have the final answer as

8.98 g/cm³

Hope this helps you
