Answer:

The correct answer is dissolving and the end product is a solution.

Explanation:

Solubility is an property of a substance to get dissolved into another. When a substance, termed as solute, dissolves in another substance, termed as solvent, we get a solution.

Larger molecules of the solute breaks because of weak covalent bonds between their molecules and pairs up with the smaller molecules of the solvent and thus dissolves in it. Not all elements can serve solutes or solvents as some have strong forces that bind them together. For example sugar is a solute in water but oil is not soluble in water.

(a) Two ions with masses of 4.39×10^−27 kg move out of the slit of a mass spectrometer and into a region where the magnetic fiel
sammy [17]

Answer:

Part a)

R_1 = 0.072 m

Part b)

R_2 = 0.036 m

Part c)

d = 0.072 m

Explanation:

Part a)

As we know that the radius of the charge particle in constant magnetic field is given by

R = \frac{mv}{qB}

now for single ionized we have

R_1 = \frac{(4.39\times 10^{-27})(7.92 \times 10^5)}{(1.6 \times 10^{-19})(0.301)}

R_1 = 0.072 m

Part b)

Similarly for doubly ionized ion we will have the same equation

R = \frac{mv}{qB}

R_2 = \frac{(4.39\times 10^{-27})(7.92 \times 10^5)}{(3.2 \times 10^{-19})(0.301)}

R_2 = 0.036 m

Part c)

The distance between the two particles are half of the loop will be given as

d = 2(R_1 - R_2)

d = 2(0.072 - 0.036)

d = 0.072 m

Find the average energy E for (a) An n-state system, in which a given state can have energy 0,,2,...,n . (b) A harmonic oscillat
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

a♦1  E_average = n E₀ / 2 , b) E_average= infinity

Explanation:

The energy values form an arithmetic series, whose sum is

          S = n (a₁ + aₙ) / 2 = n (2a₁ + (n-1) r)/ 2

Where n is the number of terms, a₁ is the first term, aₙ the last term and r is the difference between two consecutive numbers in the series

          r = 2E₀ - 0 = 2E₀

Therefore the sum is

       S = n (0 + n E₀) / 2

      S = n² E₀ / 2

The average value is

         E_average = S / n

         E_average = n E₀ / 2

b) the case of harmonic oscillation

We have two possibilities.

- if we take a finite number and terms gives the same previous value

- If we take an infinite number of fears the series gives infinity and the average is also infinite

          E_average= infinity

In medieval warfare, one of the greatest technological advancement was the trebuchet. The trebuchet was used to sling rocks into
NNADVOKAT [17]

Answer:

2) a_y= -g  3) vₓ=constant v_y = v_{oy} - g t, 4)  vₓ = v₀ₓ - ax t

5)  changes the horizontal speed, should change range

7) changes the vertical speed change the maximum height

Explanation:

1) After reading your long writing, we are going to solve the exercise, in the attachment you can see the different vectors.

2) The acceleration vectors are vertical and directed downwards due to the attraction of the Earth (gravity force) this force is constant, on the x axis there is no acceleration

3) the velocity vectors on the x-axis are constant because there are no relationships and the y-axis changes value according to the expression

           v_y = v_{oy} - gt

at the point of maximum height, vy = 0 is equal to the maximum height

4) For someone to change the horizontal acceleration we must assume a friction with the air, in this case they relate it would be in the opposite direction to the horizontal speed

In the graph it would be directed to the left, therefore the velocity would be

           vₓ = v₀ₓ - ax t

5 and 6) If someone changes the horizontal speed, they should change the range of the shot for greater horizontal speed, the rock goes further.

the equations of motion are

           x = v₀ₓ t

           y = v_{oy} t - ½ g t²

7) If someone changes the vertical speed change the maximum height, but not the scope of the shot, for higher speed higher maximum height,

the equations of motion are the same.

HELP PLZ!!!!!<br> Why do things get classified as"hot" or "cold"?
atroni [7]

Answer:

Heat flows from higher to lower temperature. So when you keep hot things in normal temperature, the heat from hot object transfers to the environment until they are both on the same level. Same happens when a cold object is kept in normal room temperature, the heat from the environment transfers to the cold object until they are both equal. its all about achieving the equilibrium in a system
