Nostril

Explanation:

Air from the outside environment first enters the respiration free system through the nostril. From the nostril and the mouth air goes into the throat and voice box or layrnx.

From here it goes into the trachea which branches into the bronchi which feeds the lungs with air. The tiny ends of bronchi are known as bronchioles which feeds the alveoli rich in blood with air.

Here gaseous exchange occurs. Oxygen rich air is supplied and carbon dioxide rich air is exhaled.

The Wind Missouri-Mississippi, The Snake Columbia, and the Green-Colorado drainage.

Explanation:

 • The wind river ranges of the Wyoming is a major headwaters system of the united states and the rage is home to about 63 glaciers and ten of the largest glacier of the united states are found in this region. The wind river range is about 77% of the area s located in the drainage.
 • The green river is located in the western united states and forms a green river basin of about 730 miles long and covers much of the Colorado plateaus and the snake river forms in a major area of the Sierra Nevada and the cascade range.

Sergeeva-Olga [200]

Ion

Explanation:

At the synaptic terminal, voltage-gated ion channels open, thereby stimulating the synaptic vesicles to release the neurotransmitters by exocytosis.

These ion channels are the signaling molecules in neurons. They are the transmembrane proteins that form ion channels. The membrane potential changes the conformation of the channel proteins that regulates their opening and closing. These channels play an important role in neurotransmitter release in presynaptic nerve endings.

For example - Ca²⁺ gated ion channel.

Two parallel wires carry a current in the same direction. there is ___________ between the wires.
Arte-miy333 [17]
The correct answer is "an attractive force" between the wires.

Let's see why. Assume we have wire A on the left and wire B on the right, and that the current in both wires go upward. First, let's find the direction of the magnetic field produced by wire A at wire B: by using the right-hand rule, we see that since the current (the thumb) goes upward, the magnetic field (given by the other fingers) at wire B is directed inside the paper.
Then we can apply again the right-hand rule to see what is the force on wire B. The index gives the direction of the current (upward), the middle finger the direction of the magnetic field (inside the paper), and the thumb gives the direction of the force: to the left, so toward wire A. This means the force is attractive. (you can re-do the procedure on wire A, and you will find the force on wire A is directed toward wire B)
