Firdavs [7]

To solve this problem it is necessary to apply the concepts related to Dopler's Law. Dopler describes the change in frequency of a wave in relation to that of an observer who is in motion relative to the Source of the Wave.

It can be described as

f = \frac{c\pm v_r}{c\pm v_s}f_0

c = Propagation speed of waves in the medium

v_r= Speed of the receiver relative to the medium

v_s= Speed of the source relative to the medium

f_0 =Frequency emited by the source

The sign depends on whether the receiver or the source approach or move away from each other.

Our values are given by,

v_s = 32.2m/s \rightarrow Velocity of car

v_r = 14.8 m/s \rightarrow velocity of motor

c = 343m/s \rightarrow Velocity of sound

f_0 = 523Hz \rightarrowFrequency emited by the source

Replacing we have that

f = \frac{c + v_r}{c - v_s}f_0

f = \frac{343 + 14.8}{343 - 32}(523)

f = 601.7Hz

Therefore the frequency that hear the motorcyclist is 601.7Hz

Temperature is a measure of the energy of molecules and energy is related to speed.

The water in a pot is heated by convection. The water on the bottom will warm up and rise toward the surface and the cooler water will then sink to the bottom where it will be heated.

Oxygen will form ionic bonds with nitrogen. The others will not by themselves.

A high pH is indicative of a basic solution. HCl and H2SO4 are both strong acids and will result in a lower (more acidic) pH. Water is the standard. KOH is a strong base and will increase the pH.

An acidic solid will lower the pH of a solution. pH measures the number of hydrogen ions and a lower pH will mean that there are more H+ ions, but the solid could just have reacted with the OH- to cause the pH to decrease

Answer the questions.
Studentka2010 [4]

a) The wind is generated because there are different values of pressure in the amtophera. That is, it is generated due to a pressure difference between two atmospheric points. Generally the movement is performed when the air travels from the highest pressure point, to the lowest pressure point. This is also a direct cause of different types of wind speeds.

b) If the cloud moves from one direction to another, it will indicate that from the starting point the pressure is higher, and the point towards which it is directed, the pressure is lower. If we place this on a Cartesian plane with reference to the cardinal points, we can know the approximate place or area where the pressures are different.
