Number of books = 820

Number of books on each shelf = 34

Number of shelves = 820 ÷ 34 = 24.12
⇒ 25 (since shelves must be in whole number)

Answer:

624

Step-by-step explanation:

the area of the triangles:

12*10 = 120

120/2 = 60

since there are 2 triangles of the same dimensions that make up the surface area 60 + 60 = 120

area of the rectangles:

13*14 = 182

since there are 2 rectangles of the same dimensions 182 + 182 = 364

The last rectangular:

10*14 = 140

add all areas:

120 + 364 + 140 = 624
