Answer

It increases to B, then it decreases.

When the stone thrown upwards, it moves vertically upwards to a maximum height then is starts to come down. Due to gravitational force, the velocity of the stone projected upwards decreases but when coming down wards is increases.

The trajectory shown in the diagrams represents an example of an object projected upwards.

We can then says that the vertical component increases from A to B, then it decreases to C.

kondor19780726 [428]

Answer:

I didn't quite understand your question, but the moon jelly population will increase if there are either more zooplankton or less sea turtles.

More zooplankton means more food => higher population

Less sea turtles means that the moon jelly will be lest often consumed => higher population

A person walking in high heals can damages the floor by making small dimples in the floor since all their weight is concentrated
iren [92.7K]

Given :

Mass of person, m = 81 kg.

Area of high heal, A = 3.5 cm² = 0.00035 m².

To Find :

The pressure applied by the heal on the ground.

Solution :

We know, pressure is given by :

P = \dfrac{mass}{Area}\\\\P = \dfrac{81}{0.00035} \ N/m^2\\\\P = 231428.57 \ N/m^2

Hence, this is the required solution.

You've been called in to investigate a car accident by the Bluffs. A car went over a 7.93 meter high cliff
valina [46]

Explanation:

Use the height of the cliff to determine how long it took the car to land.

Take down to be positive.  Given:

Δy = 7.93 m

v₀ = 0 m/s

a = 9.8 m/s²

Find: t

Δy = v₀ t + ½ at²

7.93 m = (0 m/s) t + ½ (9.8 m/s²) t²

t = 1.27 s

Use the time to calculate the horizontal velocity.

Given:

Δx = 26.7 m

a = 0 m/s²

Find: v₀

Δx = v₀ t + ½ at²

26.7 m = v₀ (1.27 s) + ½ (0 m/s²) (1.27 s)²

v₀ = 21.0 m/s

The driver was going 21.0 m/s, faster than the speed limit of 9.72 m/s.

Magnetic fields are produced either by electric currents or time-varying electric fields.
Fynjy0 [20]

Answer:

option (a)

Explanation:

The magnetic field is produced by the electric current, and the direction of magnetic field is given by the Maxwells' right hand rule.

The magnetic field is also be produced by the time varying magnetic fields.
