Explanation :

The region around a charge in which an electrostatic force is experienced is called electric field. It is also defined as an electrostatic force per unit electric charge.

Electric field lines are the imaginary lines to represent the electric field. The field lines always start form positively charged particle and terminate at the negatively charged particle.

For a positive charge, field lines are outwards while for a negative charge field lines are inwards.

For a system of two negatively charged particles, the electric field lines are shown in the attached figure.

According to Coulomb's law, the electrostatic force between two charged particle is given by :

F=\dfrac{1}{4\pi \epsilon_0}\dfrac{q_1q_2}{r^2}

where,

r is the distance between two charges. The electrostatic force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance.

So, if the charged particles are moved farther apart, the electrical force would decrease.

Without consulting Appendix B, arrange each group in order of increasing standard molar entropy (S°). Explain.(c) SF₆(g), SF₄(g)
Andre45 [30]

The increasing order of standard molar entropy (S°) is as follow:

SF₄(g) < SF₆(g) < S₂F₁₀(g)

<h3>What is Entropy? </h3>

Entropy is defined as the randomness of the particle. It depends on temperature and pressure or number of particle per unit volume.

It is directly proportional to the temperature and pressure of the gas.

<h3>What is Standard Molar Entropy? </h3>

The standard molar entropy is defined as the entropy content of the one mole of pure substance at the standard state of temperature and pressure of interest.

The standard molar entropy is also defined as the total amount of entropy which 1 mole of the substance acquire, as it is brought from 0K to standard conditions of temperature and pressure.

The standard molar entropy depends on the molas mass of atom, molecules or compound.

SF₄(g) has lower standard molar entropy. Due to less complexity of this molecules.

While, complexity increases from SF₆(g) to S₂F₁₀(g). Therefore, the standard molar entropy of S₂F₁₀(g) is greater than SF₆(g).

Thus, we concluded that the increasing order of standard molar entropy (S°) is as follow:

SF₄(g) < SF₆(g) < S₂F₁₀(g)

Todd drives west to work;54km on way in 1.5hours and then drives home in 2hrs. What is his velocity on the way to work? What is
Nataly [62]

Answer:

Explanation:

Velocity is a physical quantity that expresses the relationship between the space traveled by an object, the time taken for it and its direction. In other words, velocity is associated with the change of position of a body over time.

Its unit in the International System of Units is the meter per second (\frac{m}{s}), but it can also be expressed in \frac{km}{hr}

So, in this case, the speed on the way to work will be:

velocity=\frac{54 km}{1.5 hours}

velocity= 36 \frac{km}{hr}

The velocity on the way back home will be:

velocity=\frac{54 km}{2 hours}

velocity= 27 \frac{km}{hr}

Why do we need to be more careful of how we use our water
Reil [10]
That's why it's important for you to use water wisely and not to waste it. When you waste water, you're taking water that other people might need. But when you use water carefully, you leave more water for other people to use. It is also important to use water carefully because our weather can be unpredictable.
