Answer:

because water is actually a limited natural resource

Explanation:

although most of the earth is made up of water , dasalination plants are super expensive and hard to use. Thus slowly due to severely low rainfall over the years the earth is slowly depleting on levels of fresh water thats why we need to be careful how we use water :D !

That's why it's important for you to use water wisely and not to waste it. When you waste water, you're taking water that other people might need. But when you use water carefully, you leave more water for other people to use. It is also important to use water carefully because our weather can be unpredictable.

An aqueous solution has a hydrogen ion contamination of 1.15x10^-2M (1)What is the hydroxide ion concentration in this solution?
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

See explanation

Explanation:

We know that

pH = - log [H^+]

but [H^+] = 1.15x10^-2M

Hence;

pH =  - log(1.15x10^-2)

pH = 1.94

And;

pH + pOH = 14

pOH = 14-pH

pOH = 14 - 1.94

pOH = 12.06

Since;

pOH = - log [OH^-]

hence;

[OH^-] = Antilog (-pOH)

[OH^-] = Antilog (12.06)

[OH^-] = 8.7 * 10^-13 M

Choose all the answers that apply.
ziro4ka [17]

Explanation:

The term suspension means mixing of small and light particles together which are not dissolved in a fluid.

Therefore, clay, slit, and sand would be carried by suspension as they have small particles as compared to small pebbles and large rocks.

In a rock, there might be substance which are soluble in water. These soluble substances are therefore, continuously removed from the rock by the action of water.

Hence, holes will appear in the rock leading to rills and rough surface. Ultimately, the rock will either decompose or fall into pieces. On acidification of water by organic and inorganic solvents, the dissolution of rock increases.

Thus, it is concluded that in solution, rocks are dissolved by salts and acids.

What is the percent by volume of isopropyl alcohol in a solution that contains 45 ml of isopropyl alcohol in 1.4 L of water?
Leya [2.2K]

Hey there!

There are 1000 mL in a liter.

1.4 L + 0.045 L = 1.445 L

In total there is 1.445 L of the solution.

To find the percent of isopropyl alcohol, divide the amount of isopropyl alcohol by the total amount.

0.045 ÷ 1.445 = 0.0311

Convert to a percent.

3.11%

Hope this helps!
