A and B are experiencing winter. The picture which isn't available here in this question is attached below.

Option C.

Explanation:

The earth is tilt by an angle of 23.2° to the vertical plane. This makes the seasonal variation of earth, because in some time of the year, the northern hemisphere faces the sun directly, experiencing summer and then southern hemisphere is away from summer experiencing winter and vice versa. The summer occurs when the place directly faces the sun. And the winter happens when the place obliquely faces the sun or doesn't face the sun at all.

Here in this diagram, we can see that the points A and B are the north pole and the part in northern hemisphere respectively which aren't facing the sun directly, whereas C and D are facing the sun. Thus the southern hemisphere is experiencing summer and the northern hemisphere the winter.

10. What is the atmospheric pressure if the partial pressures of nitrogen, oxygen, and
sashaice [31]

Answer:

1.009 atm is the total pressure for the mixture

Explanation:

To determine the total pressure in atm, of the three gases (N₂, O₂ and Ar) we have to sum all the values.

Sum of partial pressures in a mixture = Total pressure

First of all, we need to convert the values from mmHg to atm

604.5 mmHg . 1atm / 760 mmHg = 0.795 atm

162.8 mmHg . 1atm / 760 mmHg = 0.213 atm

0.500 mmHg . 1atm / 760 mmHg = 6.58×10⁻⁴ atm

Partial pressure N₂ + Partial pressure O₂ + Partial pressure Ar = Total P

0.795 atm + 0.213 atm + 6.58×10⁻⁴ atm = 1.009 atm

If 0.5 ml of a mumps virus vaccine contains 5000 units of antigen, how many units would be present in each milliliter if the 0.5
kobusy [5.1K]

5000 units of antigens are present in 0.5 mL of the mumps virus vaccine.

Volume of the vaccine after dilution with water = 2 mL

0.5 mL has 5000 units antigen. So when 0.5 mL was diluted to 2 mL, the final vaccine after dilution would contain 5000 units of antigen.

Units of antigen present in 1 mL vaccine sample

= 1 mL *\frac{5000 units}{2 mL} = 2500 units

Therefore, 2500 units of the antigen will be present in each milliliter, if 0.5 mL of the vaccine is diluted to 2 mL with water for injection.
