Answer:

 • Compound

Explanation:

Compounds are pure substances formed by two or more different kind of atoms.

For example, H₂O, and CaCO₃ are compounds.

 • H₂O can be separated into hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) only by a chemical change.

 • CaCO₃ can be separated into CaO and CO₂ only by a chemical change.

Elements can not be separated into other substances by a chemical change. The process to change an element into other substance (different element) is a nuclear reaction (transmutation).

Mixtures are not pure substances and can be separated into other substances by physical changes: for example, a brine can be separated into salt and water by evaporation.

Is there a solution for the impacts overfishing?
Lera25 [3.4K]

Answer:

The world’s oceans are so big we thought for a long time that there was nothing humans could do to hurt them. Now we’re facing an imminent and global collapse of our fisheries, projected to happen as early as 2048, thanks to overfishing, wasteful fishing practices and massive overconsumption. But, there are a few key tried-and-tested solutions to overfishing that have been successfully implemented around the world. The trick is to scale these solutions up to a global scale, encouraging countries that have originally been resistant to helping and get them onboard, and supporting countries that don’t have the means to update their fishing policies themselves.

Hope it will help you

Sati [7]
Hypothesis is a smart guess that you make on the result of your experiment. You make this even before doing the experiment through inferential analysis. If the hypothesis you made was that, cotton will grow larger balls, then in the experiment, you should measure the cotton boll's size. The size should be in terms of diameter. So, the answer is b.
