describe how you could use research and the scientific method to test a claim that organic foods are better than natural foods.

Use complete sentences, state your hypothesis and explain specifically how you would conduct the research and gather the data that you will use. You do not have to conduct the experiment, only explain what you would do and how you would analyze the results.

Natural food is not regulated - there is no rule or regulation. Food manufacturers can label any food as "natural".

Orgranic food is regulated by USFDA and must follow rules and regulations during material selection and processing.  It must also passed inspections to maintain its "organic" label.

So the hypothesis is organic foods are better than natural foods. An experiment can be conducted to test this claim. Food ingredients are listed in all food labels. Visit the local supermarket and copy down the ingredients lists of both orgranic and natural foods.

Correlate the ingredients in two separate columns labeled organic and natural. Look them up to see if they are healthy; or man-made/processed.  If there are more healthy ingredients in organic foods, the results support the claim.

Natural food is not directed - there is no run or control.<span>
So the speculation is natural foods are superior to characteristic foods. An analysis can be led to test this claim. Food fixings are recorded in all food names. Visit the nearby general store and duplicate down the fixings arrangements of both organic and regular foods.

Which element, if combined with chlorine, will have the greatest attraction for the chlorine electrons? N P As
Mumz [18]
Basically, the answer for this would be N or NITROGEN. If we combine nitrogen with chlorine, what happens is that, it can attract more chlorine electrons towards itself. The reason is that, nitrogen is considered more electronegative compared to chlorine. So best answer for this is the first option.

Which of the following scientists made an important contribution to quantum mechanics: (i) Bohr (ii) deBroglie (iii) Heisenberg
grandymaker [24]

Answer:

(i) Bohr; (ii) de Broglie; (iii) Heisenberg (v) Schrödinger

Explanation:

(i) Niels Bohr — 1913 — proposed that electrons travel in fixed orbits with <em>quantized energy levels</em> and that they jump from one energy level to another by absorbing or emitting quanta of light.

(ii) <em>Louis de Broglie</em> — 1924 — proposed the wave nature of electrons and suggested that all matter behaves as both waves and particles (<em>wave-particle duality</em>).

(iii) Werner Heisenberg — 1927 — formulated quantum mechanics in terms of matrices and proposed his famous <em>uncertainty principle</em>.

(v) Erwin Schrödinger — 1926 — applied wave mechanics to the electron in a hydrogen atom, showing that electrons exist in <em>orbitals </em>rather that orbits.

(iv) <em>Ernest Rutherford</em> — 1911 — proposed that atoms have most of their mass in a central nucleus (<em>nuclear atom</em>). Quantum mechanics had not yet been invented.
