No, it is not necessary for them to have the same acceleration.
For example, one may be speeding up while the other is slowing down. For an instant, their velocities may become the same but their accelerations are different.

Find the mass of the solid cylinder Dequals{(r,theta,z): 0less than or equalsrless than or equals2, 0less than or equalszless
anygoal [31]

The mass of the cylinder <em>D</em> is obtained by integrating the density function over <em>D</em>:

\displaystyle\iiint_D\rho(r,\theta\,z)\,\mathrm dV

With \rho(r,\theta,z)=1+\frac z2, and

D=\left\{(r,\theta,z)\mid 0\le r\le2,0\le z\le10\right\}

the mass would be

\displaystyle\int_0^{2\pi}\int_0^2\int_0^{10}1+\frac z2\,\mathrm dz\,\mathrm dr\,\mathrm d\theta=4\pi\int_0^{10}1+\frac z2\,\mathrm dz

4\pi\left(z+\dfrac{z^2}4\right)\bigg|_0^{10}

=4\pi\left(10+\dfrac{100}4\right)=\boxed{140\pi}

In the photoelectric effect, it is found that incident photons with energy 5.00ev will produce electrons with a maximum kinetic
Yakvenalex [24]
From Literature:

The amount of energy in the photons is given by this equation:

E = hf

where E = energy
            h = Planck's constant = 6.63 * 10^-34 Joule seconds
            f = frequency of the light, Hz

Given:

E= 3.00 eV and Planck's constant

To solve for the frequency, E = 3.00 eV

1 electronvolt = 1.60218 x 10^-19 Joules

3 * 1.60218 x 10^-19 Joules = 6.63 * 10^-34 Joule seconds * f
f = 7.25 x 10^14 /second or hertz

Therefore, the threshold frequency of the material is 7.25 x 10^14 Hertz.

A geosynchronous satellite orbits Earth at a distance of 42,250 km from the center of Earth and has a period of 1 day. What is t
yan [13]

Answer:

The centripetal acceleration of the satellite is a=0.22\ m/s^2.

Explanation:

Given that,

The distance covered by a geosynchronous satellite, d = 42250 km

The time taken by the satellite to covered distance, t = 1 day = 24 hours

Since, 24 hours = 86400 seconds

Let v is the speed of the satellite. It is given by the total distance divided by total time taken such that :

v=\dfrac{d}{t}

v=\dfrac{2\pi d}{t}

v=\dfrac{2\pi\times 42250 \times 10^3}{86400 }

v = 3072.5 m/s

The centripetal acceleration of the satellite is given by :

a=\dfrac{v^2}{d}

a=\dfrac{(3072.5)^2}{42250 \times 10^3}

a=0.22\ m/s^2

So, the centripetal acceleration of the satellite is a=0.22\ m/s^2. Hence, this is the required solution.

A rocket-driven sled Sonic Wind No. 2, is used for investigating the physiological effects of large accelerations on people. It
rewona [7]

Answer:

The best single equation in order to fin the acceleration is

a=v_f/t=250/2=125m/s^2

Explanation:

The best single equation in order to find the acceleration is the following kinematics equation:

v_f=v_o+at

As the rocket start from the rest, the initial velocity value is zero. Then the acceleration value is:

a=v_f/t=250/2=125m/s^2
