I suspect this question should read "How long does a red blood cell live." A red blood cell lives for between 100 and 120 days. It takes 7 days for a new red blood cell to develop from stem cells. Stem cells are similar to base cells. They can also be seen as a general template from which specialized cells are made. Stem cells can be taken from a newborn baby's umbilical chord or extracted from an adult blood donor's blood.This

Which bond will each pair of elements form?
jok3333 [9.3K]

Explanation: Sodium is a metal with a low electronegativity it will form an ionic bond with a non metal with a high electronegativity.

Both Florine and Sulfur are non metals with high electronegativity.

Neon is a noble gas family VIII A and normally doesn't form any bonds at all.

Matt has found a book on various marine zones. A picture illustrates a zone that shows diffused penetration of sunlight in water
Ugo [173]

Answer:

the mesopelagic, dysphotic, or twilight zone

Explanation:

Marine zones are the divisions of the ocean. The ocean is divided into two basic parts; the pelagic or open ocean, and the benthic or sea floor.

The pelagic zone is further divided into five broad zones according to how far down sunlight penetrates and they are:

1) the epipelagic, euphotic, or sunlit zone: the top layer of the ocean where enough sunlight penetrates for plants to carry on photosynthesis.

2) the mesopelagic, dysphotic, or twilight zone: a dim zone where some light penetrates, but not enough for plants to grow.

3) the bathypelagic, aphotic, or midnight zone: the deep ocean layer where no light penetrates.

4) the abyssal zone: the pitch-black bottom layer of the ocean; the water here is almost freezing and its pressure is immense.

5) the hadal zone: the waters found in the ocean's deepest trenches.

At a given temperature, K = 1.3x10^-2 for the reaction:
son4ous [18]

Answer:

a) 0.11

b)76.9

c) 8.8

d) 1.7*10^-4

Explanation:

Step 1: Data given

K = 1.3 * 10^-2 for the reaction N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3(g)

Step 2: Formula of K

aA(g) + bB(g) ⇌ cC(g) + dD(g)

K = [C]^c *[D]^d  / [A]^a * [B]^b

K = 1.3 * 10^-2 = [NH3]² / [H2]³*[N2]

Step 3:

a) 1/2N2 + 3/2H2(g) ⇌ NH3(g)

N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3

1/2N2 + 3/2H2(g) ⇌ NH3(g)    =>K' =  \sqrt{K}

K' = \sqrt{1.3*10^-2} = 0.11

b. 2NH3(g) ⇌ N2(g) + 3H2(g)

N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3

2NH3(g) ⇌ N2(g) + 3H2(g)    =>K' = 1/K

K' = 1/(1.3*10^-2) = 76.9

c. NH3(g) ⇌ 1/2 N2(g) + 3/2H2(g)

N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3

NH3(g) ⇌ 1/2 N2(g) + 3/2H2(g)

=>K' = \frac{1}{\sqrt{K} }

K' = \frac{1}{\sqrt{1.3*10^-2} }

K' = 8.8

d. 2N2(g) + 6H2(g) ⇌ 4NH3(g)

N2(g) + 3H2(g) ⇌ 2NH3

2N2(g) + 6H2(g) ⇌ 4NH3(g)

K' = K²

K' = (1.3*10^-2)²

K' = 1.7 *10 ^-4
