The only problem is that this type of motors are still very expensive, so once their price is on pair with the combustion motors they can be used. Tires that are able to increase the efficiency of the transportation means can also be useful, as they will be able to reduce the amount of pollutants released into the atmosphere, because the transportation will use less fossil fuels for the same mileage.
