How does increasing the distance affect the electric field strength for a given charge?

Physics

V = Ed
E = v/d
so electric field strength and distance are inversely propotional. if we increase the distance electric field will decrease. if we decrease the distance electric field will increase.

If a wave has amplitude of 0.2 meters, a wavelength of 0.5 meters, and a frequency of 32 Hz, at what speed is it moving?
GarryVolchara [31]
The velocity, frequency and wavelength of a wave are related by:
v = fλ
v = 32 x 0.5
v = 16 m/s
The answer is B.

When a honeybee flies through the air, it develops a charge of +20 pC . Part A How many electrons did it lose in the process of
Yuri [45]

Answer:

1.3 × 10⁸ e⁻

Explanation:

When a honeybee flies through the air, it develops a charge of +20 pC = + 20 × 10⁻¹² C. This is a consequence of losing electrons (negative charges). The charge of 1 mole of electrons is 96468 C (Faraday's constant). The moles of electrons representing 20 pC are:

20 × 10⁻¹² C × (1 mol e⁻/ 96468 C) = 2.1 × 10⁻¹⁶ mol e⁻

1 mole of electrons has 6.02 × 10²³ electrons (Avogadro's number). The electrons is 2.1 × 10⁻¹⁶ moles of electrons are:

2.1 × 10⁻¹⁶ mol e⁻ × (6.02 × 10²³ e⁻/ 1 mol e⁻) = 1.3 × 10⁸ e⁻

Two identical space probes are orbiting Jupiter. Scientists determine that one of the space probes has a larger gravitational fo
galina1969 [7]

If the probes are identical, then the one that feels a larger gravitational
force is orbiting closer to Jupiter than the other one is.

If they're not identical, then the one with greater mass will feel more
gravitational force than the one with less mass, even if they're both
the same distance from Jupiter.  (We know this from the experimental
observation that fatter people weigh more, even on Earth.)

Thermal energy is added to water. Which of the following describes the new state of matter?
katovenus [111]

Answer:

Bonds have been broken that held particles in place

Explanation:

Boiling took place with use of thermal energy(heat energy), this will make particles to move faster and apart from each other bcos temperature is increased. Increase in temperature causes increase in kinetic energy
