Answer:

Physics is important in our daily life because it deals with daily objects we need like light, electricty and sound. Without physics, we cant have the ability to see because lights wont be a thing, we cant use phones, cars and such because they wont work without electricty, you wont be able to listen to your favourite band without sound!

Energy is defined as ____. a. movement of electrons b. capacity to store sugar c. the movement of atoms and molecules d. the
8090 [49]

Answer:

option (d)

Explanation:

Energy is defined as the capacity to do work.

Energy can neither be created and nor be destroyed, it can transform from one form to another.

The SI unit of energy is Joule and teh commercial unit of energy is kilowatt hour.

There are several forms of energy.

1. kinetic energy

2. potential energy

3. mechanical energy

4. Solar energy

5. Sound energy

Conclusion on ohm's law experiment
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

Explanation:

In our previous articles, we observed the theoretical formulas of Ohm’s law, its calculations in the lab report, and experiment. Today you’ll learn the verification of theory vs experimental results on a 1 kΩ resistor.

The theoretical results are obtained from the formula of Ohm’s law: V = IR. The experimental verification is provided for a metal film 1 kΩ (±0.05%). We have used a high-quality resistor with negligible tolerance value so as to reduce the tolerance error.

The little problem in our calculations arises due to improper handling of multimeter probes. You can learn the complete method to perform the Ohm’s experiment here and can calculate the current values by using the Ohm’s law calculator.

wo ships, one 200200 metres in length and the other 100100 metres in length, travel at constant but different speeds. When trave
shutvik [7]

Answer:

The speed of the faster ship is 22.5 m/s

Explanation:

The length of the ships are;

Ship 1 = 200 m

Ship 2 = 100 m

The time it takes for the ships to completely cross each other when travelling in opposite directions = 10 seconds

The time it takes both ships to cross each other when travelling in the same direction = 25 seconds

Let x represent the speed of the first ship, ship 1, and y represent the speed of the second ship, ship, 2, we have;

(x + y) × 10 = 200 + 100 = 300

10·x + 10·y = 300...(1)

(x - y) × 20 = 200 + 100 = 300

20·x - 20·y = 300...(2)

Multiply equation (1) by 2, to get;

(x + y) × 10 × 2 = 300 × 2

20·x + 20·y = 600...(3)

Adding equation (1) to equation (3) gives;

20·x + 20·y + 20·x - 20·y = 600 + 300

40·x = 900

x = 900/40 = 22.5

x = 22.5

The speed of the first ship, ship 1 = x = 22.5 m/s

From equation (1), we have;

10·x + 10·y = 300

y = (300 - 10·x)/10 = (300 - 10×22.5)/10 = 7.5

y = 7.5

The speed of the second ship, ship 2 = y = 7.5 m/s

Therefore, the faster ship is ship 1 with a speed of 22.5 m/s

Lawson's criterion states that the product of ion density and confinement time must exceed a certain number before a break-even
LekaFEV [45]

According to Lawson's criterion, the outcome is determined by the product of ion density and confinement time because the temperature must be maintained for a sufficient confinement time and with a sufficient ion thickness to obtain a net gain of power from a fusion reaction.

What are Lawson's criterion?

 • The overall conditions that must be met in order to produce more energy than is required for plasma heating are usually expressed in terms of the product of ion density and confinement time, a condition known as Lawson's criterion.
 • In nuclear fusion devices, confinement time is defined as the amount of time the plasma is kept at a temperature above the critical ignition temperature.
 • Even at temperatures high enough to overcome the coulomb barrier to nuclear fusion, a critical density of ions must be maintained in order to achieve a net yield of energy from the reaction.
 • Because the density required for a net energy yield is correlated with the confinement time for hot plasma, the minimum condition for a productive fusion reaction is typically stated in terms of the product of ion density and confinement time, which is known as Lawson's criterion.
