Answer with Explanation:

A food chain is a series of transmission of food and energy within an ecosystem. In a food chain the food and energy is transferred in the trophic levels. The trophic levels forms the hierarchy of feeding organisms in a food chain.

The producers come in the lowest trophic level. These are the organisms which can synthesize their own food by photosynthesis. They are the source of food and energy for a large diversity of animals and organisms of the other trophic levels.

The loss of plants, or producers from an ecosystem can reduce the population of primary consumers as they includes the herbivores. The decline in population of the primary consumers will reduce the population of secondary consumers which may include the carnivores.

When plants die they become food for the decomposer for example Lettuce, If all the Lettuce in someones field died the decomposer would get its nutriets and make the soil stronger, so if you plant more Lettuce and it survives the Consumer would get to eat the lettuce. Hope this helped! :)

Explain a situation in which you can accelerate even though your speed doesn’t change.
Serga [27]
"Acceleration" does NOT mean speeding up.  It also doesn't mean
slowing down.  Acceleration means ANY change in the speed
OR DIRECTION of motion.

The only kind of motion that's NOT accelerated is motion at a steady
speed AND in a straight line.

Even when your speed is steady, you're accelerating if your direction
is changing.

A few examples:
(no speeds are changing):

-- driving on a curved road, or turning a corner
-- going around a curve on a skateboard, a bike, or a Segway
-- running on a quarter-mile track
-- an Indy car cruising a practice lap around the track
-- water spinning, getting ready to go down the drain
-- any point on the blade of a fan
-- the little ball going around the inside of a Roulette wheel
-- the Moon in its orbit around the Earth
-- the Earth in its orbit around the sun

Grilled cheese or Cheese toasty??
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

<em>Toasties are British in origin and were usually made in ovens. They were the same as a grilled cheese but the bread was not buttered. Some Brits would make them in a pan in the oven, too, which is even closer to the stove-top grilled cheese.</em>

How much time would it take for an object to fall 4.7 meters
alukav5142 [94]

Answer:

t = 0.97 s

Explanation:

Given that,

height, h = 4.7 m

We need to find the time taken by the object to fall 4.7 m.

Let it is t. Using second equation of kinematics to solve it such that,

h=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}gt^2

u is initial velocity, u = 0

So,

h=\dfrac{1}{2}gt^2\\\\t=\sqrt{\dfrac{2h}{g}}\\\\t=\sqrt{\dfrac{2\times 4.7}{9.8}}\\\\t=0.97\ s

So, the required time is equal to 0.97 seconds.
