<h2>Answer:</h2>

143μH

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

The inductance (L) of a coil wire (e.g solenoid) is given by;

L = μ₀N²A / l                 --------------(i)

Where;

l = the length of the solenoid

A = cross-sectional area of the solenoid

N= number of turns of the solenoid

μ₀ = permeability of free space = 4π x 10⁻⁷ N/A²

<em>From the question;</em>

N = 183 turns

l = 2.09cm = 0.0209m

diameter, d = 9.49mm = 0.00949m

<em>But;</em>

A = π d² / 4                     [Take π = 3.142 and substitute d = 0.00949m]

A = 3.142 x 0.00949² / 4

A = 7.1 x 10⁻⁵m²

<em>Substitute these values into equation (i) as follows;</em>

L = 4π x 10⁻⁷ x 183² x 7.1 x 10⁻⁵ / 0.0209           [Take π = 3.142]

L = 4(3.142) x 10⁻⁷ x 183² x 7.1 x 10⁻⁵ / 0.0209

L = 143 x 10⁻⁶ H

L = 143 μH

Therefore the inductance in microhenrys of the Tarik's solenoid is 143

The earth has a net electric charge that causes a field at points near its surface equal to 150 N/C and directed in toward the c
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

a) The magnitude of the electric charge that a 60-kg human must have to overcome weight is 3.923 coulombs and its sign is negative.

b) The force of repulsion between two people is 13.851\times 10^{6} newtons. The use of the earth's electric field a feasible means of flight is not feasible since electric force of repulsion would destroy human body before taking advantage of any possible flight skill.

Explanation:

a) From Second Newton's Law, we form this equation of equilibrium:

\Sigma F = F_{E}-W = 0 (Eq. 1)

Where:

F_{E} - Electrostatic force exerted on human, measured in Newton.

W - Weight of the human, measured in Newton.

If we consider that human can be represented as a particle and make use of definitions of electric field and weight, the previous equation is expanded and electric charge is cleared afterwards:

q\cdot E-m\cdot g = 0

q = \frac{m\cdot g}{E} (Eq. 2)

E - Electric field, measured in Newtons per Coloumb.

m - Mass, measured in kilograms.

g - Gravity acceleration, measured in meters per square second.

q - Electric charge, measured in Coulomb.

As electric field of the Earth is directed in toward the center of the planet, that is, in the same direction of gravity, electric field must be a negative value. If we know that m = 60\,kg, g = 9.807\,\frac{m}{s^{2}} and E = -150\,\frac{N}{C}, the charge that a 60-kg human must have to overcome weight is:

q = \frac{(60\,kg)\cdot \left(9.807\,\frac{m}{s^{2}} \right)}{-150\,\frac{N}{C} }

q = -3.923\,C

The magnitude of the electric charge that a 60-kg human must have to overcome weight is 3.923 coulombs and its sign is negative.

b) The electric force of repulsion between two people with the same charge calculated in part (a) is determined by Coulomb's Law, whose definition we proceed to use:

F = \kappa \cdot \frac{q^{2}}{r^{2}} (Eq. 3)

Where:

\kappa - Electrostatic constant, measured in Newton-square meter per square Coulomb.

q - Electric charge, measured in Coulomb.

r - Distance between two people, measured in meters.

If we know that \kappa = 9\times 10^{9}\,\frac{N\cdot m^{2}}{C^{2}}, q = -3.923\,C and r = 100\,m, then the force of repulsion between two people is:

F = \left(9\times 10^{9}\,\frac{N\cdot m^{2}}{C^{2}} \right)\cdot \left[\frac{(-3.923\,C)^{2}}{(100\,m)^{2}} \right]

F = 13.851\times 10^{6}\,N

The force of repulsion between two people is 13.851\times 10^{6} newtons. The use of the earth's electric field a feasible means of flight is not feasible since electric force of repulsion would destroy human body before taking advantage of any possible flight skill.

Tridil is infusing at 15 ml/hr on an infusion pump. The drug is mixed 50 mg in 500 ml D5W. How many MCG/minute is the patient re
olga nikolaevna [1]

Answer:

patient receiving drug 25 MCG/minute

Explanation:

given data

infusing = 15 ml/hr

drug = 50 mg

D5W = 500 ml

to find out

How many MCG/minute

solution

we know infusing rate is 15 ml/hr = 0.25 ml/min

so 0.25 ml drug content = 50 /500 × 0.25

0.25 ml drug content = 0.025 mg

so here

rate of drug will be 0.025 mg

rate of drug = 0.025 mg = 25 ×10^{-6} gm/min

rate of drug = 25 MCG/minute

so patient receiving drug 25 MCG/minute

What is the correct definition of a fracture?
MA_775_DIABLO [31]

The correct definition of a fracture is break in the bone

<u>Explanation:</u>

When nay injury results in the breaking or causing any cracking in the bones of any parts then this will lead to fracture. When the injury caused is near the ligament or tissue in which the bone is connected or attached then it will lead to an avulsion fractures. Thus this will lead to the pulling of bone form the original position thereby leading more pain in the spot associated with the fracture.

Sports people are the victims of this type of fracture. Fracture may occur anywhere mostly legs,hands,ankle,hip and elbow. sometimes it may be in finger, shoulder,knee,etc. The main symptoms that are associated with fracture includes, selling, inability in moving the fractured part or pain associated when trying to move that part, Loss of the affected part's function,etc.
