Answer:

V_y = 16.44\ m/s

V_y = 7.32\ m/s

Explanation:

Given

\theta = 24

Velocity\ (V) = 18m/s

Required

Determine the vertical and horizontal components

The vertical (Vy) and horizontal (Vx) components is calculated as thus:

V_x = Vcos\theta

V_y = Vsin\theta

Calculating Vertical Components:

V_y = Vsin\theta

V_y = 18 * sin24

V_y = 18 * 0.40673664307

V_y = 7.32125957526

V_y = 7.32\ m/s --- Approximated

Calculating Horizontal Components:

V_x = Vcos\theta

V_x = 18 * cos24

V_x = 18 * 0.91354545764

V_x = 16.4438182375

V_x = 16.44\ m/s --- Approximated

Winds tend to rotate in a counter clockwise direction in the ___ (northern or southern) Hemisphere as they move into a low press
lana [24]

Answer:

Winds tend to rotate in a counter clockwise direction in the center of northern and southern hemisphere.

Explanation:

The wind blows clockwise around a high pressure area in the northern hemisphere and the wind blows counter - clockwise around low pressure.

In the northern hemisphere High-pressure systems rotate clockwise direction and in the southern hemisphere low-pressure systems rotate clockwise direction.

WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST AND 50 POINTS!
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

1) Current decreases; 2) Inverse proportionally; 3) 1[A]

Explanation:

1)

As we can see as the resistance increases the current decreases, if we take two points as an example, when the resistance is equal to 50 [ohms] the current is equal to 1[amp] and when the resistance is equal to 200 [ohms] the current tends to have a value below 0.5 [amp]. Thus demonstrating the decrease in current.

2)

Inverse proportionally, by definition we know that the law of ohm determines the voltage according to resistance and amperage. This is the voltage will be equal to the product of the voltage by the resistance.

V=I*R\\V = voltage [volts]\\I = current[amp]\\R = resistance [ohms]

where:

R =\frac{V}{I} \\or\\I=\frac{V}{R}

And whenever we have in a fractional number the denominator the variable we are interested in, we can say that this is inversely proportional to the value we are interested in determining. In this case, we can see from the two previous expressions that both the current and the resistance appear in the denominator, therefore they are inversely proportional to each other.

3)

If we place ourselves on the graph on the resistance axis, we see that at 50 [ohm] will correspond a current value equal to 1 [A].

A baseball diamond is a square (don’t be fooled that it is usually shown rotated by 45°). Each side of the square is 90 feet lon
gayaneshka [121]

A line from second to home creates a right triangle with 45 degree angles.

This makes the diagonal line the side length of the square multiplied by the sqrt(2)

Second to home = 90sqrt(2) = 127.279 feet ( round answer as needed)

What is F = m x a in Newton's laws of motion?
madam [21]

Answer:

This is Newton's second law.

Newton's second law text:

(If a resultant force acts on a body, then an acceleration will give it an acceleration, the magnitude of which is directly proportional to the amount of the net force, and a direction is in the direction of the net force itself)

F=ma

net force = mass x acceleration
