An aluminum cylinder has a radius of 3.2 cm and a length of 8.6 cm. What is the mass of the aluminum cylinder if aluminum has a
Hatshy [7]

Answer:

750g of Aluminum

Assuming 8.6 cm lenth is the height of the cylinder. The volume of a cylinder is: V = \pi*r^2*h

V = 3.14cm x 10.24cm x 3.6cm

V = 280cm^3

Now density = mass/volume

2.7g/cm^3 = mass/280cm^3

2.7g/cm^3 x 280cm^3 = mass/280cm^3 x 280cm^3

= 750g of Aluminum

Easy Question. Will mark brainliest
Xelga [282]

Answer:

Their components

Explanation:

It's simple enough, the components in carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide both have at least one carbon and one oxygen atom. However, they differ because their amount in the molecules is different, and that is because of their covalent bonds. Carbon dioxide has to double electron bonds while carbon monoxide has a rare triple electron bond.

Solid calcium carbide, CaC2, reacts with water to form an aqueous solution of calcium hydroxide and acetylene gas, C2H2. Express
Lina20 [59]

Answer: CaC_2(s)+H_2O(l)\rightarrow Ca(OH)_2(aq)+C_2H_2(g)

Explanation:

According to the law of conservation of mass, mass can neither be created nor be destroyed. Thus the mass of products has to be equal to the mass of reactants. The number of atoms of each element has to be same on reactant and product side. Thus chemical equations are balanced.

The solutions in water are designated by symbol (aq) and those which are insoluble in water and remain in solid form are represented by (s) after their chemical formulas. Liquids are represented by (l) and gases are represented by (g).

The balanced chemical reaction is:

CaC_2(s)+2H_2O(l)\rightarrow Ca(OH)_2(aq)+C_2H_2(g)

2. A solution in which 50 grams of salute is dissolved in 250 grams of solution has a concentration of
IgorC [24]
The fact that the unit is supposed to be in percent makes me think it is referring to percent mass. To find percent mass you need to find find the divide the mass of solute by the total mass of solution and than multiply that by 100%.
%mass=(50g/300g)x100%
%mass=0.167%

I hope this helps.
