-- If the person to whom you're explaining them is alongside you, then
you should adjust your walkiing rate to match his, so that he remains
within earshot for the duration, and receives the benefit of the complete
explanation.

-- If you're presenting the explanation on the phone, then your walking
rate doesn't matter.  But you still must adjust it to avoid running out of
breath as you speak, and you must also maintain your own awareness
of your surroundings, so that your explanation is not inadvertently
truncated.

Well one way that you could explain is well by just walking and just say that one of the laws is an object in motion tends to stay in motion. The you could punch the palm of your hand ad then say that and object will stop if hit with an unmeasured force. You could also drag your feet on the sidewalk and talk about how friction stops an object from moving.

I hope that this was helpful to you.

A 2-f and a 1-f capacitor are connected in series and a voltage is applied across the combination. the 2-f capacitor has:_______
VARVARA [1.3K]

Half the potential difference of the the1-µF

A circuit must have a capacitance of 2 F across a 1 kV potential difference for an electrical technician. He has access to a sizable number of 1F capacitors, each of which can sustain a potential difference of no more than 400 V. Please suggest a configuration that uses the fewest capacitors possible.

The 2-mu F capacitor has the following characteristics: none of the aforementioned; half the charge of the 1-mu F capacitor; twice the charge of the 1-mu F capacitor; and half the potential difference of the 1-mu F capacitor.

Q = C V, C = Capacitance of the capacitor gives the charge stored by a capacitor with an applied voltage V. V is the applied voltage.

A ball rolls across a floor with an acceleration of 0.100 m/s2 in a direction opposite to its velocity. The ball has a velocity
Westkost [7]

Answer:

4.15 m/s

Explanation:

Its given that acceleration is 0.1 m/s² with a direction opposite to the velocity. Since, the direction of acceleration is opposite to the velocity, this gives us a hint that the velocity is decreasing and so acceleration would be negative.

i.e.

acceleration = a = - 0.1 m/s²

Distance covered = S = 6m

Velocity after covering 6 meters = Final velocity = v_{f} = 4 m/s

We need to find the initial speed, which will be the same as the magnitude of initial velocity.

Initial velocity = v_{i} =  ?

3rd equation of motion relates the acceleration, distance, final velocity and initial velocity as:

2aS = (v_{f})^{2}-(v_{i})^{2}

Using the known values in the formula, we get:

2(-0.1)(6)=(4)^{2}- (v_{i})^{2}\\\\ (v_{i})^{2}=16+1.2\\\\ (v_{i})^{2}=17.2\\\\ v_{i}=4.15

Thus, the initial speed of the ball was 4.15 m/s
