The simplest test to do in order to identify the possible presence of hydrochloric acid is to use a pH paper. Dipping it will change the color of the paper to a color that will signify that the pH is under the acid range (1-6). Hope this helps.

Answer and explanation;

The easiest way to test for hydrochloric acid is with silver nitrate solution.

-Add silver nitrate solution to the test solution in a test tube and observe the reaction. If a white precipitate forms, hydrochloric acid is present.

-Hydrochloric acid (HCI) is a strong corrosive acid that occurs by dissolving hydrogen chloride in water. It is often used as a chemical reagent and is also made naturally in the body. Most gastric acid (human digestive acid) is made of hydrochloric acid.

This particle is found in the nucleus and adds mass to the nucleus, but changing its number does not change what the element is.
Sliva [168]
Adding neutron to the nucleus creates new isotopes of that element. Mass of the nucleus will increase if you add neutron to it but element will remain the same. If you add proton to the nucleus, mass of the nucleus will change but also element will also change. That is, atom of the element will change.

How do sound waves travel through a medium?
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

Sound waves need to travel through a medium such as solids, liquids and gases. The sound waves move through each of these mediums by vibrating the molecules in the matter. The molecules in solids are packed very tightly. ... Sound travels about four times faster and farther in water than it does in air

what is the difference in gravitation potential energy when a 3.5 kg box is raised from a height of 1.2m to height of 4.0m?
Whitepunk [10]

Answer: 96.138 J

Explanation:

Ep= mGh (on 1.2 m high)

Ep= 3.5kg*9.81*1.2

Ep1=41.202 J

Ep=mGh (on 4m high)

Ep=3.5*9.81*4

Ep2=137.34J

Ep= Ep2-Ep1

Ep=96.138J

A flashlight has a resistance of 30 Q and is connected
Talja [164]

Answer:

3 A

Explanation:

The relationship between voltage, current and resistance in a conductor is expressed by Ohm's law, which states that:

V=RI

where:

V is the potential difference across the conductor

R is the resistance of the conductor

I is the current flowing through it

In this problem, for this flashlight we have:

V = 90 V is the potential difference

R=30 \Omega is the resistance of the flashlight

Solving for I, we find the current:

I=\frac{V}{R}=\frac{90}{30}=3 A
