Answer:

1.   Meiosis has 2 cell divisions but mitosis has only one cell

division. Meiosis I is same as mitosis because parent cell produces diploid

cells. But the difference between meiosis and mitosis is after the complete

process meiosis produces genetically different haploid daughter cells and

mitosis produces genetically same diploid daughter cells.

2.   The main advantage of the sexual reproduction is It helps to produce offspring which can be well adapted to the environmental conditions due to the genetically differentiations. Hence, there are various types of offspring in the population. But the disadvantage is it requires two parents and it requires more time than asexual reproduction.

3.   Advantages of asexual reproduction are it requires only parent, time for the process is relatively low, it produces genetically identical offspring. The main disadvantage is due to the production of genetically identical offspring, the survival rate is low when there is a disaster.

4.   The organism can do either sexual reproduction or asexual reproduction to produce offspring. If it is difficult to find a partner to mate, the living being can do asexual reproduction to make offspring in a short period of time. When the organism needs genetically different offspring for survival, they can do sexual reproduction.

Select the phrases that correctly describe density. Density is a chemical property. Density relates a mass to its volume. Densit
sp2606 [1]

Answer:

Density relates a mass to its volume.

Density varies with temperature

Density determines if a substance floats or sinks.

Density may have units of grams per milliliter (g/mL)

Explanation:

Density D is a characteristic property of a substance or material and is defined as the relationship between the mass m of a body or substance and the volume V it occupies:

D=\frac{m}{V}

This means the density is inversely proportional to the volume.

On the other hand, density is a scalar quantity and according to the International System of Units its unit is D=\frac{kg}{m^{3}} , although it can be also expressed in \frac{g}{ml}.

It should be noted that the density of a body is related to its buoyancy, a substance or body will float on another fluid if its density is lower. In addition, if the pressure of the substance remains constant, as the temperature increases, the density decreases; this means density varies with the temperature as well.

PLEASE HELP WILL GIVE 20 POINTS!!!!
Aliun [14]
A). very large
B). very small
These are both wishy-washy words ... words that mean different things
to different people, and may even mean different things to the same person
at different times.
Even if everybody agreed on the meaning of these words, we wouldn't
have any idea which one may apply to the rover, because there's nothing
in the picture that gives any size reference !  We don't know from the picture
whether this thing is the size of a school book or a school bus.  Or somewhere
in between.

C). very mathematical
What in the world does this mean ? ?
I don't see a single number or math symbol anywhere in the drawing.
I don't think this is the correct choice.

D). very complex
In the drawing, there are thirteen different labels of things,
and eight of them have such long names that only their initials
are shown.
This is one complicated combination of many different machines.
I think this is the best choice of description.

A person can jump a maximum horizontal distance (by using a 45◦ projectile angle) of 5 m on Earth. The acceleration of gravity i
snow_lady [41]

Answer:30 m

Explanation:

Given

Maximum Horizontal distance is 5 m on earth

launching angle=45^{\circ}

Acceleration due to gravity on earth is 9.8 m/s^2

Acceleration due to gravity on moon is \frac{9.8}{6}=1.63 m/s^2

Range of projectile is given by

R=\frac{u^2\sin 2\theta }{g}

R_{earth}=\frac{u^2\sin 2\theta }{g}=5----1

R_{moon}=\frac{u^2\sin 2\theta }{\frac{g}{6}}-----2

Divide 1 & 2

\frac{5}{R_{moon}}=\frac{1}{6}

R_{moon}=30 m
