Rate of performing work is called power.

Time = work done/Power = 1800/300 = 6 sec.
Therefore it takes 6 secs to perform work.

Answer : The time it take will be, 6 seconds.

Solution : Given,

Power = 300 W= 300 J/s     (1 W= 1 J/s)

Work = 1800 J

Power : It is defined as the rate at which work is done.

Formula used :

Power=\frac{Work}{Time}\\\\Time=\frac{Work}{Power}

Now put all the given values in this formula, we get

Time=\frac{1800J}{300J/s}=6s

Therefore, the time it take will be, 6 seconds.

The majority of earthquakes worldwide occur at all but one location. That is
natta225 [31]
Earthquakes occur in the crust or upper mantle, from the earth’s surface to about 400 miles below the surface. But the very deepest earthquakes only occur at subduction zones where cold crustal rock is being pushed deep into the earth. In California, earthquakes are almost all in the top 15 miles of the crust, except in northern California along the Cascadia Subduction Zone, which extends into Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia.(tectonic plate boundaries)

Based on the image, which is not a wavelength?
ki77a [65]

The distance that is not a wavelength in the image is C to E.

<h3>What is wavelength?</h3>

Wavelength is the distance between two successive crests or two successive trough or crest to trough.

It is also the distance over which the wave's shape repeats.

Based on the image, the following are wavelengths;

  • A to E, this is wavelength because it is between a crest and a trough.
  • B to F, this is wavelength because it is between two successive crest.
  • D to H, this is wavelength because it is between two successive trough.

Thus, the distance that is not a wavelength in the image is C to E.
