Answer:

Explanation:"A watershed is an area of land that drains all the streams and rainfall to a common outlet such as the outflow of a reservoir, mouth of a bay, or any point along a stream channel. Watersheds can be as small as a footprint or large enough to encompass all the land that drains water into rivers that drain into Chesapeake Bay, where it enters the Atlantic Ocean. This map shows one set of watershed boundaries in the continental United States; these are known as National hydrologic units (watersheds). "

"The word "watershed" is sometimes used interchangeably with drainage basin or catchment. Ridges and hills that separate two watersheds are called the drainage divide. The watershed consists of surface water--lakes, streams, reservoirs, and wetlands--and all the underlying groundwater. Larger watersheds contain many smaller watersheds. It all depends on the outflow point; all of the land that drains water to the outflow point is the watershed for that outflow location. Watersheds are important because the streamflow and the water quality of a river are affected by things, human-induced or not, happening in the land area "above" the river-outflow point."

Answer:

I believe, Yes. Soil is part of watersheds.

(I could be wrong)

Explanation:

Soil is a complex mixture of inorganic materials (sand, silt, and clay), decaying organic matter, water, air, and a great array of organisms. It is sometimes incorrectly described as a physical, non-living entity; Soils often vary substantially from place to place within a watershed, and among different watersheds. They are classified into soil orders, basic differences among types of soils can be useful for understanding why they vary in their suitability for supporting different land uses and ecological communities.

Hope I helped. If so may I get brainliest and a thanks?

Thank you, have a good day! =)

Find the force of gravity of 1000 kg car.
ANEK [815]

Answer:

The force of gravity acting on the car is 9800 N vertically downward.

Explanation:

Given:

Mass of the car given is 1000 kg.

We know that the force of gravity is the force applied by the center of Earth on any body. The force of gravity is also called the weight of the body and always act towards the center of the Earth.

From Newton's second law, we know that the force acting on a body is equal to its mass and acceleration.

Here, the acceleration acting on the car is due to gravity and thus has a constant value of 9.8 m/s² on the surface of Earth.

Therefore, the force of gravity acting on the car is given using the Newton's second law as:

Force of gravity = Mass of car \times Acceleration due to gravity.

Force of gravity = (1000 kg) \times (9.8 m/s²)

Force of gravity = 9800 N [1 kg.m/s² = 1 N]

Therefore, the force of gravity acting on the car is 9800 N vertically downward.

What drives a galvanic cell?
lutik1710 [3]

Answer:

A galvanic cell is driven by the spontaneity of the chemical reaction occurring between the two compartments of the cell: Anode and Cathode.

Explanation:

A galvanic cell is driven by the spontaneity of the chemical reaction occurring between the two compartments of the cell: Anode and Cathode.

Note that the spontaneity of a reaction is either determined by its positive standard cell potential ( ξ ∘ ) or its negative free energy ( Δ G ∘ ).
