The amount of deionized  is 22.5 \ mL

From the question we are told that

   The volume of stock solution of ampicillin in de-ionized water is V_0 =  100 mL

   The concentration (in mg ) of ampicillin in de-ionized is C_0  = 100 mg/mL

    The volume of ampicillin in deionized water to produce is V_2  = 30ml

The concentration (in mg )  of ampicillin in de-ionized water to produce is C_2 = 25 mg/mL

The chemical process can be mathematically represented as

            V_3 100 = 30 *  25

=>          V_3  = \frac{30*25}{100}

             V_3  = 7.5 mL

The amount of  ampicillin stock is  V_3  = 7.5 mL and amount of 25 mL  (30 - 7.5 = 22.5 mL ) of deionized water
