WILL MARK BRAINLIESTFor the simple harmonic motion equation d =4sin(8pit) what is the period?
shtirl [24]
The period of any wave is the time it takes for its angle
to go from zero to 2pi .

The 'sin' function is a wave.  The angle of this one is (8pi t).

When t=0, the angle is zero.
Wonderful.
Now, how long does it take for the angle to grow to 2pi ?

I*n other words, when is (8pi t) = 2pi ?

Divide each side by '2pi': . . . . . 4 t = 1

Divide each side by ' 4 ': . . . . . t = 1/4

And there you are.  Every time 't' grows by 1/4, (8pi t) grows by 2pi.
So if you graph this simple harmonic motion described by 'd', you'll
see the graph wiggle up and down with a period of 1/4 .

The 45-g arrow is launched so that it hits and embeds in a 1.40 kg block. The block hangs from strings. After the arrow joins th
worty [1.4K]

Question: How fast was the arrow moving before it joined the block?

Answer:

The arrow was moving at 15.9 m/s.

Explanation:

The law of conservation of energy says that the kinetic energy of the arrow must be converted into the potential energy of the block and arrow after it they join:

\dfrac{1}{2}m_av^2 = (m_b+m_a)\Delta Hg

where m_a is the mass of the arrow, m_b is the mass of the block, \Delta H of the change in height of the block after the collision, and v is the velocity of the arrow before it hit the block.

Solving for the velocity v, we get:

$v = \sqrt{\frac{2(m_b+m_a)\Delta Hg}{m_a} } $

and we put in the numerical values

m_a = 0.045kg,

m_b = 1.40kg,

\Delta H = 0.4m,

g= 9.8m/s^2

and simplify to get:

\boxed{ v= 15.9m/s}

The arrow was moving at 15.9 m/s

Inside a vacuum tube, an electron is in the presence of a uniform electric field with a magnitude of 320 N/C. (a) What is the ma
nignag [31]

(a) The magnitude of the acceleration of the electron is 5.62 x 10¹³ m/s².

(b) The speed of the electron after the given time is  4.78 x 10⁵ m/s.

<h3>Acceleration of the electron</h3>

The acceleration of the electron is calculated as follows;

F = qE

ma = qE

a = qE/m

a = (1.6 x 10⁻¹⁹ x 320)/(9.11 x 10⁻³¹)

a = 5.62 x 10¹³ m/s²

<h3>Speed of the electron</h3>

v = at

v = 5.62 x 10¹³ m/s² x  8.50 x 10⁻⁹ s

v = 4.78 x 10⁵ m/s

At a particular instant, a proton at the origin has velocity &lt; 5e4, -2e4, 0&gt; m/s. You need to calculate the magnetic field
vesna_86 [32]

Answer:

9.7\times 10^{-5} T

Explanation:

Velocity =5\times 10^4i-2\times 10^4j

r=0.03i+0.05j

r=\mid r\mid=\sqrt{(0.03)^2+(0.05)^2}=0.058

v=\mid V\mid=\sqrt{(5\times 10^4)^2+(-2\times 10^{4})^2}=5.39\times 10^{2}

We know that

B=\frac{mv}{qr}

Where q=1.6\times 10^{-19} C

Mass of proton=1.67\times 10^{-27} kg

Using the formula

B=\frac{1.67\times 10^{-27}\times 5.39\times 10^2}{1.6\times 10^{-19}\times 0.058}

B=9.7\times 10^{-5} T
