Answer:

No, Stephanie is incorrect. Formation of petroleum cannot take place under the presence of oxygen.

Explanation:

Since, the petroleum is fossil product. Fossil fuel are formed under high pressure and temperature with absence of oxygen for longer period. so the way she is performing is completely incorrect. With the presence of oxygen in no way petroleum will be formed. The temperature and pressure should be in different combination for the formation of the petroleum. Along with the layers of sediments to maintain the pressure is required.

A 25. 00 ml sample of acetic acid containing phenolphthalein indicator is titrated with 0. 1067 m naoh. The solution changes col
sasho [114]

The concentration of acetic acid:

The concentration of the acetic acid before titration is 0.128 M

What is titration?

Titration is a quantitative analytical procedure that works by allowing a known analyte to gradually react with a titrant until an endpoint is reached.

Titration for weak acid and strong base:

Moles of acetic acid =  moles of NaOH

Given:

Concentration of NaOH = 0.1067 M

Volume of NaOH = 30.07 ml = 0.03007 L

Calculation:

So, by using the formula, Concentration = Moles/Volume

Moles of NaOH = concentration x volume = 0.1067 x 0.03007 = 0.0032

Therefore, the moles of acetic acid  = 0.0032 mole

Now, using the formula again for determining the concentration of acetic acid, we get,

Concentration = Moles/Volume

Concentration of acetic acid =  0.0032/0.025 = 0.128M

c. granite  - heterogeneous substance

(it as mixture of different oxides, mainly aluminium and silicon oxides)

d. energy drink  - heterogeneous substance

(a mixture of water, sugar, carbon dioxide and different substances that may boost concentration, like caffeine)

e. oil-and-vinegar salad dressing  - heterogeneous substance

(this salad dressing of oil and vinegar is composed of unsaturated triglycerides, acetic acid and water)

f. salt  - homogeneous substance

(sodium chloride NaCl)

g. rainwater  - homogeneous substance

(assuming the the atmosphere is clean, it is just pure water H₂O)

h. nitrogen - homogeneous substance

(it is the main component of air and it is a diatomic molecule N₂)
