Molecular weight of N2
gram Atomic weight of N is 14 g.
gram Molecular weight = 14 g×2
= 28 g
Liter concepts
1 liter of gas always occupies 1 gram molecular weight .
Application of the concept
5.75 liter gives 0.257g

1 mole will occupy 28 g

0.257 will occupy 28 g × 0.257
= 7.196 g

The mass of the gas is 7.196 g.

Hope it helps you

What is the pH of a 75.0 mL solution that is 0.045 M in weak base and 0.053 M in the conjugate weak acid
noname [10]

Answer:

7.07

Explanation:

HA = weak acid = 0.053

A+ = conjugate base = 0.045

Ka = 7.2x10^-8

Ka = [H+][A-]/HA

7 2x10^-8 = [H+][0.045]/0.053

[H+] = 7.2x10^-8 x 0.053/0.045

= 8.48x10^-8

PH = -log[H+]

= -log[8.48x10^-8]

PH = -[login.48 + log10^-8]

PH = -0.928 - (-8)log10

= 7.07

mote1985 [20]

Answer:

1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s² 3p⁶ 4s² 4p²

Explanation:

This atom will likely have 4 electron shells denotation of – 2.8.8.4

Orbitals shells show the probability, in space around the nucleus, where to find an electron. It is important to note that the 3rd shell has an additional d orbital (-in addition to s and p). However, because the d orbital has a higher energy state than the 4s and 4p orbitals, the d orbital only fills up when these latter ones are completely filled. In this case, the 4p does not completely fill (hence we don't see the d orbital in the notation).
