Answer:

A real world example on the relationship between pressure and surface area can be seen in the functioning of a syringe and the needle

The surface area of the barrel is larger than the surface area of the shaft of the needle and as such when the plunger of a syringe containing sufficient quantity of fluid such as water is pressed, the water coming out of the needle rises to a very high level while the plunger moves a distance of a fraction of the barrel length indicating that the pressure of the water coming out from the syringe is much higher than the pressure on the water in the barrel of the syringe

What is the wavelength of an electromagnetic wave
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

Electromagnetic waves are categorized according to their frequency f or, equivalently, according to their wavelength λ = c/f. Visible light has a wavelength range from ~400 nm to ~700 nm.

The electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) is the general name given to the known range of electromagnetic radiation. Wavelengths increase from approximately 10-18 m to 100 km, and this corresponds to frequencies decreasing from 3 × 1026 Hz to 3 ×103 Hz.

An angle has a value of 2.2 radians. Find its value in degrees.
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

The value of 2.2 radians in degree is 126.11°.

Explanation:

Given that,

Angle = 2.2 radians

We need to calculate the value in degrees

We know that,

1\ radians = \dfrac{180}{\pi}

2.2\ radians = \dfrac{180}{3.14}\times2.2

2.2\ radians = 126.11^{\circ}

Hence, The value of 2.2 radians in degree is 126.11°.

PLEASE REAL ANSWERS IM SUPER BEHIND
natima [27]

Answer:

25000W

Explanation:

Kinetic Energy, EK=(1/2)mv2. Energy is conserved, so the work done by the brakes, W, must be equal to the change in kinetic energy of the car, ∆EK. Therefore: W = ∆EK = (1/2)1000(152-52) = 0.51000200 = 100000 = 1*105J. Since power P = W/T, the average power output of the brakes is equal to the total work done by the brakes over the time that the brakes are applied for, therefore: P = 100000/4 = 25000W.
