Which of the following can not be guessed about the prehistoric organism by its fossil ?
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer:

Evolution in the broadest sense explains that what we see today is different from what existed in the past. Galaxies, stars, the solar system, and earth have changed through time, and so has life on earth.Something that happened in the past is thus not "off limits" for scientific study. Hypotheses can be made about such phenomena, and these hypotheses can be tested and can lead to solid conclusions. Furthermore, many key aspects of evolution occur in relatively short periods that can be observed directly—such as the evolution in bacteria of resistance to antibiotics.Laws, like facts and theories, can change with better data. But theories do not develop into laws with the accumulation of evidence. Rather, theories are the goal of science.

a). Consider an ideal gas with an absolute temperature of T1. To what temperature would you need to heat the gas to double its p
Virty [35]
For an ideal gas, we use the ideal gas equation to relate pressure, volume and temperature changes. It is expressed as:

PV=nRT

For this case, we set V, n as constant.

P/T = nR/V = constant = k
P = kT

P1/T1 = P2/T2
P1/T1 = 2P1 / T2
T2 = 2P1(T1) / P1
T2 = 2T1

Therefore, in order to double the pressure of the system, we need to double the temperature as well at constant volume and number of moles.

Which is better solvent: water or carbon tetrachloride?
Firdavs [7]
To know which is a better solvent between the two, one should know what will be the solute. It really depends on what type of solute you have. If the solute is polar then water is the better solvent for that type of solute. However, when the solute is a nonpolar substance then carbon tetrachloride is the better solvent.

How does the body maintain the equilibrium between oxygen and hemoglobin at high altitudes?
mario62 [17]
Individuals who are both born and raised in high altitudes will have their bodies re-establish equilibrium shift by producing more hemoglobin, which allows for more oxygen to be bound to the heme protein and thus cause an equilibrium shift to the right.
