Since f=ma force= mass x acceleration, once the equation is rearranged you get m= F/a. you sub in your numbers to get : 14000N/ 500m/s and your anwser is 28 kg.

The Lamborghini Huracan has an initial acceleration of 0.80g. Its mass, with a driver, is 1510 kg. If an 80 kg passenger rode al
irina [24]

Answer:

a = 15.1 g

Explanation:

The relation between mass and acceleration is given by :

m\propto \dfrac{1}{a}

If a₁ = 0.80g, m₁ = 1510 kg, m₂ = 80 kg, we need to find a₂

So,

\dfrac{m_1}{m_2}=\dfrac{a_2}{a_1}\\\\a_2=\dfrac{a_1m_1}{m_2}\\\\a_2=\dfrac{0.8g\times 1510}{80}\\\\a_2=15.1g

So, the car's acceleration would be 15.1 g.

A 0.155 kg arrow is shot upward
solniwko [45]

Answer:

2.43J

Explanation:

Given parameters:

Mass of the arrow = 0.155kg

Velocity = 31.4m /s

Unknown:

Kinetic energy when it leaves the bow = ?

Solution:

The kinetic energy of a body is the energy in motion of the body;

 it can be derived using the expression below:

   K.E  = \frac{1}{2}  m v²

m is the mass

v is the velocity

 Solve for K.E;

    K.E  =  \frac{1}{2}  x 0.155 x 31.4 = 2.43J

Assume a satellite shines an unpolarized light on a telescope. The intensity of the light as it reaches the telescope is 1.1*10-
n200080 [17]

Answer:

4.125\times 10^{-11}\ W/m^2

Explanation:

I_0 = Intensity of unpolarized light = 1.1\times 10^{-10}\ W/m^2

\theta = Angle of the filter = 30^{\circ}

Intensity of light is given by

I=\dfrac{I_0}{2}cos^2\theta\\\Rightarrow I=\dfrac{1.1\times 10^{-10}}{2}cos^230\\\Rightarrow I=4.125\times 10^{-11}\ W/m^2

The intensity of light detected by the camera is 4.125\times 10^{-11}\ W/m^2
