Answer: 1.85 C

Explanation:

Given

charges on the conductors are -1.8\ C and 5.5\ C

They are connected by a conducting wire for a short period of time and then disconnected. During this time charge flow from the wire and net charge becomes 5.5-1.8=3.7\ C

This charge will be equally distribute among the two conductors i.e. 1.85 C on each conductor.

FinnZ [79.3K]

Answer:

Explanation:

In physics, a conservation law states that a particular measurable property of an isolated physical system does not change as the system evolves over time. The exact conservation laws include conservation of energy, and conservation of linear momentum, and also conservation of angular momentum, aswell as the conservation of electric charge

jolli1 [7]

Both hits the ground <u>at the same time</u> because they have <u>same vertical acceleration</u>

<u></u>

<h3>What is vertical  acceleration?</h3>

A vertical acceleration is typically one for which the direction of the vector is vertically upward, usually aligned with and opposite to the gravity vector. But this is a descriptive term, not a rigorous or technical term. A car may accelerate along a road and that would generally be assumed to be a horizontal.

The vector perpendicular to this direction, as perhaps a suspension motion over a bump, would be described as vertical even if it is not strictly vertical.

Note that acceleration is defined as the rate of change of the velocity vector. But the gravitation vector, ‘g’, generally vertically downward, is often denoted by what acceleration a mass in free fall (absent air resistance) would experience, i.e. the relationship between mass and weight.

what is the pressure exerted, what is the pressure exerted by 50kg girl as she places her weight on one shoe if the heels area i
lana [24]

Answer:

The pressure exerted by the girl is 245,000 N/m²

Explanation:

Given;

mass of the girl, m = 50 kg

area of the girl's shoe, A = 0.002 m²

The pressure exerted by the girl is calculated as follows;

P = \frac{F}{A} \\\\Where;\\F \ is \ the \ force \ exerted \ by \ girl's \ weight\\\\P = \frac{F}{A} = \frac{mg}{A} = \frac{50 \times 9.8}{0.002} = 245,000 \ N/m^2

Therefore, the pressure exerted by the girl is 245,000 N/m²
